With Megatronia and Baldigus on the horizon, it's possible combiners are reaching the end of the line, barring a surprise reveal of UW Liokaiser. After a great run from both Hasbro and Takara, which line ultimately dominated your collection? Do you have more figures from Combiner Wars or Unite Warriors?

 

I've went UW for Defensor, Bruticus, and Computron. I went CW for Superion and Menasor, plus the 6 from G2 Bruticus. And even then, I also have Alpha Bravo, Offroad, Rook, Battle Core Prime, and Cyclonus. I've got 5-6 others set aside for a custom I plan on doing sometime after we conclusively know about what TT's doing as far as Liokaiser goes. So...15 vs 26.

CW.

 

I've got Cyclonus, Blades, Rook and Streetwise from Combiner wars because they were cheaper and easier to find. If I'll ever buy other figures from this serie I'll go with what I'll find at a good price. Only with Computron I may choose a specific version since CW has better hands and feet but UW has better sculpt.

I have many many CW figures. I only have 1 (or 6) UW figures in the Incredible Hulk coloured form of Devastator.

Since I solely collect Hasbro released figures of course I have more Combiner Wars figures... I have no interest in the IMO inferior Unite Warriors that have also been released by Hasbro for Combiner Wars. Though when cash becomes less hard to come by for me I do need to pick up UW Ratchet, Grand Galvatron, Megatronia, and Ruination.

I only have UW Computron and (soon) Devy, my Bruticus, Defensor, and Menasor are all CW (and my aerialbots will be too as soon as they stop being $60 a piece)

 

All Unite Warriors for me. I did thought about getting CW computron, but I'm really satisfied with Takara's version. The only Cw figure I own is Powerglide. So I own from UW Superion to UW Lynxmaster . The only ones I don't have is UW Grand Galvatron ( though I'm kinda regretting in not picking him up now), UW Devasator (because I have maketoys which is more in scale), UW Optimus Maximus (just wasn't interested in this one).

My brother does own a CW G2 Superion though.

 

My combiners are mostly all Hasbro Combiner Wars. They were a bit easier and cheaper to get (mostly) vs. the extra cost to import some of the Unite Warriors sets. Also some of the differences between Hasbro and Takara sets were not a big enough reason for me to import. I could live with Groove being a Legends figure, Blast Off as a jet, or Constructicons not having extra articulation or weapons. Only exception was Unite Warriors Computron because it looked like the superior set with choice of mold for Nosecone being the top reason.

 

I only just have Combiner Wars figures.

 

I have all the UW sets except for Optimus Maximus. Only CW set I have is Victorion.

 

The only UW I have is Devastator. All of my other combiners are CW (Superion, Menasor, Defensor, Optimus Maximus, Bruticus, Sky Reign, Victorion, Computron, & Liokaiser)

 

All Combiner Wars.
