I have no budget and buy what I like, but not until I'm broke, or anywhere near in fact because that would be monumentally stupid. I guess I don't need to budget because I exercise restraint, at least some modicum of it.
I shoot for $300-400 each month but I'm trying to trim some of the fat since I pretty much buy whatever I want
I don't collect G1, I'm not interested in convention exclusives, I don't pay aftermarket prices, and I don't buy at retail. The only money I spend on Transformers is through online pre-orders, and I always choose the cheapest option and the lowest shipping cost. I still spend over a thousand dollars a month on Transformers.
Currently no budget and I am trying to squeeze the most out of that before August. Come August I have no clue if I will even have a budget. By then it will be sell a toy buy a toy.
My budget for 2013 is $300. Basically I'm getting MP Soundave and the occasional figure throughout the year. It's forcing me to be very picky which is good, but I'm afraid I'll have to pass on a few pricier things I'd really like to get (FP Menasor, MP Prowl, Metroplex, etc.). At least, 90% of the stuff coming out currently doesn't interest me; it's just missing the $50+ items which will hurt (those add up fast!).
I have a loose hobby budget. Transformers are one of several hobbies competing for a slice of that small budget.
No set budget, but I'm fairly picky with what I buy, so it doesn't come out to much more than $100 per month.
I don't really have a "TF Budget" but I do limit myself to $50 a week to go towards things that I want. Most weeks I don't actually spend it, and just put it up until I have enough to buy what I want. I collect G1, MPs, and a variety of 3 3/4" figures, but usually this money will go toward other things than toys; ie a new suit, watches (I've got weird obsession with watches for some reason), or just taking the family out to do something nice. When there's something that I really want I'll save the money up, sell off some of the other figures I have, or a combination of both; that's how I've funded most of my larger purchases like Overlord, Fort Max, etc.
Nope. I buy what I want, but because I'm super selective, I never end up spending too much. That and my boyfriend feeds my toy addiction...
No, I don't have a budget. I do research before I buy something that piques my interest though, and make a decision to purchase it or not.
I do not have a set budget for toys but i try to select what i will purchase every month and fit it into my over all budget.
