My belief regarding life after death is that until I have objective proof that there is something to look forward to, I'm in no bloody hurry to find out! However, I have definitely felt the presences of the recently departed in my mind. I just...can't prove that I didn't imagine it, so, like with my own personal religious beliefs, I don't expect anyone else to live by it or take it seriously. I definitely feel that rock salt and bay rum and water can clear the air in a troubled place, but holy crap, I totally can't prove it's not a placebo effect, y'know? I do believe that there is other sapient life in the universe. Seems... kind of a waste for there not to be. Hopefully whoever they are, they're benevolent, or at least trying to be, muddling their way through like the rest of us. I do not believe that the other sapient life in the universe is beaming people up and performing weird, vaguely sexual experiments on them.
You know.. "ghosts" or some of them... could be shards of fractured realities. It isn't exactly like our species in the (past/present/future) in our (reality/dimension/universe) would have had to be responsible for any sort of dimensional/reality catastrophe. There could always be another.
I told a high school science class recently when lecturing about the Scientific Method that if anyone in the future was able to use it to prove the existence of ghosts and spirits, they're names would be immortalized in the history of science.
I believe both exist in some capacity, My family and I were raised Christians so the idea of ghosts does make sense, because when my mother passed away, One of our friends had something happen where something moved at her workplace at the exact moment she passed. I also remember waking up at the same time too, so I believe it was her coming to say goodbye to us. As for Aliens, I 100% believe theirs life out there, it wouldnt make sense for us to be the only sentient life in all of the galaxy. I'd imagine they wouldnt want to make contact with us though because either from their world they see the dinosaurs or 2nd, they would probably cause us to panic as we dont know their intentions.
We just had a sighting here where I live but the general consensus is that it was the StarLink satellites.

I don't believe in ghosts. but I believe in ufo. I don't know how to compare the two? UFOs - you can try to prove scientifically or at least logically, but ghosts are only a fantasy, or the other world, nothing has been proven
