even without combining the Dinobots were pretty powerful able to take on devastator. As a combiner I'd expect them to be at least as strong as or possibly stronger than Predaking. I looked at the wiki entries but it doesn't really tell much other than comically non of them actually new how to combine once they gained the ability.
In a bizzare twist, all the strengths and powers of the dinobots cancel eachother out in combined mode and volcanicus is weak as a turbo-kitten, barely able to stand up and support its own combined weight. Meanwhile, their dumbness forms a gestalt entity, creating one of the most unintelligent autobots ever seen. The dinobots only do the combining thing as a trick at parties now.
we don't because in Bay's movies, there's no reference as to how combiners are destructive forces and their power. for example, Devastator was put in a desert instead of a city. So we don't really know. another example is with Blackout; he uses his shockwave weapon during the base attack, but when they were attacking a city, he does not use it. made me think if in Bay's movies the Decepticons follow a rule of engagement
As Volcanicus has bee posited as a direct rival to Predaking, we can assume that the two are about equal in terms of physical power. As for an exact number, we could average out the individual Dinobots' canonical strength levels and posit that as the gestalt's strength, which gets us a total of 8.6 (not including Slash). Predaking and Devastator are both 10s in strength, so Volcanicus would be pretty close. That said, if we did include Slash and any power the Dinobot Enigma would afford the team, the results would differ.
I dunno he fought Predaking and later on Sludge got killed by Overlord I think so no more Volcanicus. Saw it on youtube and allot of people in the comments were asking when Victorian intended to seperate so that poor possibly dead transformer hanging off her shoulder torn in half could get some medical attention/repairs done
