In tf1 we see BB loose his legs in the explosion and it doesnt seem to hurt him, except from a few staining sounds, nothing much, so he didnt feel pain then in rotf, in the forest fight we see optimus rip SS arm off and he lets out a scream of pain , so now they feel pain? then in egypt , when BB fights with rampage, he braeks his arm and then rampage goes - "Aaarrrgh" as if hes in pain then when optimus and the fallen are fighting at the end , optimus cuts off megatrons arm and this doesnt seem to hurt him. finally in dotm when optimus's arm gets ripped of by sentinel, this doesnt seem to hurt him do they acctually feel pain?
Most likely, but not to the same extent as humans. If you got your arm and face shot off like Megatron did, I think you would do more than just calling for a friend and being fine a few moments later. If they didn't feel pain, I don't think the Wreckers would say "This will hurt- a lot!" while torturi-I mean killing that Decepticon.
Well, there are a few more instances when they scream in pain, like when Optimus is shot from behind and stabbed by Megatron in ROTF. He screams "Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrgh!!" xD, so it hurt. Wheelie also felt a lot of pain when he stepped on the mousetrap. Also, he was hurting a lot when Mikaela torched his eye. The Twins also whine when they get hit by Bumblebee. Moonracer also screams in pain when she is shot at the end of ROTF. And she sounds like it really hurt. Optimus also whines after Megatron's huge kick to his face in ROTF Optimus' shot to Megs face in ROTF, he also feels a lot of pain there. And theres lots more. So, they do feel pain. But it seems loss of limbs dont induce in them excruciating pain, maybe only to some extent. And it is also because of the needs of the plot. Having a Cybertronian waste precious screentime squirming and twisting in the ground doesnt help the movie to flow.
They undoubtedly feel pain, but I'd imagine they'd just ignore it while in an intense battle. The warrior-types (like Ironhide and many of the Cons) probably have higher pain thresholds than the non-combatives (such as Wheelie). Then you get oddballs like Starscream who can take having an arm ripped off and used as a bludgeon against him but freaks out when something strikes his eye.
Who's moonracer? But then u got scenes like when starscream shoots optimus with his machine gun which doesn't seem to hurt him and then Meggs shoots him with his big fusion cannon and that blows him through the air (and the same happened in tf1) and that doesn't hurt him either ? Let's out an exhausted "Uagh"
Did you not see DOTM yet? After Starscream is pierced in the eye, he constantly winces in pain until he dies. The purple Arcee bike.
No, they can't. They're robots, not living creatures. Why would a tagline for the line be "robots in disguise" then? Robots can't feel, they're only programmed.
Of course he did, you could see it on his face. He was just not letting the pain hinder him. Of course it does, he was just to busy being thrown through a wall to say "ow, this hurts." Really? His pained groans and gasps as he weakly dragged himself across the ground didn't tip you off?
Which is the point where the purpose of this Sam-hero scene overrules and rapes the internal logic of TF1 and ROTF.
Ye I kno SS was in pain but I didn't mention every injury cos I'll be here till tomorrow I though moonracer was called flareup or elite 1 , I've never heard moonracer
Moonracer was one of Elita-1 Rumored names before ROTF was released, but in august 2009 hasbro confirmed the name woudl be elita-1 and boom, all her toys are named Elita-1 and shes is named Elita-1 in All of the Movie comics
this, also, I think pain is optional, in battle and everyday life yes they feel pain but in transformers prime operation breakdown silas said something like "are his pain receptors off?" "yes sir" "good, that way he won't scream as much" so I think there's like some sort of on and off switch for pain
In Transformers Prime I think it's more implied that they went inside him, found his pain receptors, and shut them off/removed them. I kinda doubt a transformer can consciously turn them off.
Ye if they had their pain receptors on they would be at a massive disadvantage against another robot with them off
Grindor let out a roar of agony when Optimus ripped his head open. I think that's proof enough that they do.
