Both franchises are so vastly different that I couldn't pit them against one another. Compare them? Sure, but I can't put them in an adversarial context. There's great things to enjoy from each franchise and I think it's a bit pathetic for any Star Wars fan to devote any amount of energy to hating Star Trek, or Star Trek fan to hating Star Wars. People actually run websites dedicated to hating everything about one franchise. Direct that time and energy toward something else and let people enjoy what they want to enjoy.
