As with any line in Transformers, Prime has it's fans.
The Unicron Trilogy seems to have more fans, and yet they lack new figures.
Will Prime ever see new figures ?

Prime was part of the Aligned Continuity, alongside WFC/FOC, which is seeing releases from Planet X. Would people want Planet X to to do Prime as well, given a CHUG scale would allow for more figures in a small area.

I would love to see properly scaled 3P takes on the really lackluster figures like knock out. But much of the line still holds up great in terms of aesthetic and engineering, and we're just barely starting to see figures come out in the Beast Wars and Unicron Trilogy eras. I don't think there's enough room or demand for a full MP reboot.

I grew up in the shadow of BW and the entire UT, so I'm completely ready for MP UT figures and combination gimmicks.

But when I was a teenager, I watched TFP in the afternoon/evening and G1 reruns played in the morning. I feel like TFP is the essence of a modern, mature G1 and can attract the toon crowd because of its smooth aesthetic. I'm more attached to the toys of the UT (I'd collect my favorites I remember), but I'm definitely more invested in MP TFP (I'd collect everything since I know the whole plot/cast).

So what if they were CHUG sized, and given thats Planet X's arena, would people get Planet X Prime figures ?

At least KOs have started happening for TF Prime figures, so maybe someday 3rd party figures will start getting made as well.

I would, but not MP scale. Not at first at least.

I started with CHUG, and have some FE TFP deluxes. My concern there is that it doesn't create as much of a discernable difference from what already exists, and with the focus split between MP and Legends, for the line to ride the trend in either camp would be less risk.

MP is my preference because it allows for a higher parts count, greater likelihood of ratchets, and possibly better introduction of diecast joints. Might be more expensive, but I think that it imitates G1 MP enough for a market.

Yes I think people would potentially buy if they were CHUG scale and meant to supplement an existing collection. I'm still perfectly happy with all of my FE TFP figures and most of the general and BH lines. But if a 3P came in and did knockout or airachnid or one of the other few eyesores in the lines then I think they'd be absolute hits. I don't think TFP will be ready for an MP reboot for at least a decade though. It needs to get more nostalgia factor and the original figures need to become much more inaccessible and obsolete with engineering.

I’m sure a bunch of people will for some reason assume that the figures somehow hurt their precious g1 MP’s market (I like them but come on), but yes. I don’t just want them

    I NEED them

Yes. I personally would like an entire MP line of them.

I never understood why nobody made Hardshell, a good Airachnid, a good Knockout, a KO Breakdown, and an upscaled Ratchet in scale with the official line. So many people clearly want those to be redone.

Prime Predaking is one of the best TF dragon designs yet there's never been a good figure of him. I'd love to see some 3P tackle him

Plenty of people probably would want them. I wouldn't buy them though.

there are quite a few figures I'd love to see made...
Characters that didn't get toys, or toys that had a flaw to them/too many corners cut, or even were over/undersized.

I would love to see more 3P Prime toys that fit with the existing figures, which are mostly phenomenal and hold up well.

I'd say there are 3 primary exceptions and 1 gap to fill:

    Knockout
    Ratchet
    Airachnid
    Hardshell

    After that go nuts.

I would love KO's of figures that were, and still are, almost impossible to get.
Like a voyager Breakdown or jet Vehicon
If some company make new molds I would like to see them doing a more accurate Predaking, Knock Out, Airachnid and even Unicron Megatron and Beast Hunters Optimus

I think the prime figures are pretty strong in general. The Vehicon figure is one of my favorites. But I wouldn’t mind some 3rd party renditions on Knockout

I'd like Iron Factory to try their hand at some of them, namely Ratchet, Wheeljack, Soundwave, Skyquake/Dreadwing, Bulkhead Breakdown and the BH Optimus
