Do Alt. Prowl's arms have the same problem as Grimlocks?

    Hi Guys,
Question for those of you who own both Alternator Prowl and Alt. Grimlock.

I bought Grimlock, and then quickly sold him, b/c getting his arms in place was such a struggle. The arm would always pop off, or the door would always pop off b/c it seemed they were hitting each other.

I wanted to know if Prowl suffers from the same design problem?

    Thanks

Prowl and Grimlock have completely different arms. Being placed under the hood and having ball joints is about all they have in common.

The arms are completely different, and Prowl's arms are much easier to figure out how their supposed to be arranged in vehicle mode. However, I did experience problems with the arms occasionally popping off during transformation, so it is similar in that one respect.

I just have problems with Prowl's door popping off.....of course, it seems like at least one part is gonna come off of every one of my Alts.

I finally got the hang of Transforming Grimmy without pulling the doors off.

One minor variation I found I like a lot. In robot mode, point the doors straight up. Although they move with the shoulder and limit the dynamics for posing, I like this look. Like having shoulder 'blades' or shields to protect against a head shot.

(I've really got to get around to drawing this)
