You actually get an entire fig/ character with this upgrade, yet ppl still find excuses to complain. Comical. Sounds like a bunch of ex-wives waiting to happen.

I may get this just to have a small enough Wheelie for my MP movie figs, as the 3rd party MP Wheelie is to big.

The way I'm choosing to look at this is that it's a $25 figure (looks on par with the Dr Wu Squawkbox) and a $25 upgrade for Grimlock.

Why would DNA 3d print a kit when they've always done injection molding?

Yea, proportions on the Wheelie are great, just kind of annoyed that the wheels are molded to the limbs. Like it's so close to perfect that they missed the mark on the most stupid thing

Well for one it's really not that great of an entire figure that you're getting, there are better Wheelie options out there and, since it's Wheelie, there likely will be even more down the road. And for the other, when the upgrades are going to end making the whole thing cost almost double the original price, it's probably a good idea to take pause and consider whether or not that's really worth it (especially considering there are four more Dinobots and likely four more upgrade kits to come).

The molded wheels are a bummer, but making those able to spin would've made the set pricier, and since I'll never try vroom vrooming him, it doesn't really bother me, although I can understand other folk's disappointment.

I like how they went total Hasbro with the hollow bits though so it fits right in with official Hasbro product. :lol

Take me for example, I live in Canada, so everything is automatically more expensive. I've almost bought every version of upgrade kits available, so I can make my dream Grimlock using parts from different sets. I have already paid triple Grimlock's price, and I'm going to buy this one too.

Is it worth it to me? Hell yeah!

Wheelie looks good, but aside from him and the sword, nothing else was needed in my opinion.

Does anyone know of any UK based stores stocking this? I'm not opposed to ordering from the US if I have to, but it would just make it far simpler for me

This set is a mixed bag for me. I'm not really sure I needed a brand new Wheelie.

The new neck piece, teeth, gap covers and dino arms are delightful. At the same time, a little bummed that the sword is done in plain colors.

Well not everyone wants Wheelie, people felt the same way about the one that actually comes with SS Grimlock.
I don't get why they don't offer the grimlock parts on their own and make the wheelie one a DX version.

I don't know, The Sword and Transparent Parts interest me, the Panels look Decent, Wheelie is just a full figure minus the Sling Shot; and Grimlock is flipping us off in one the pictures with his new Articulated Claws :D .

Like many upgrade kits they just throw stuff in to justify the price, not bad, not good.

I have a feeling SS Grimlock will get an Official Reissue with Sword and Transparent neck in the future.

Maybe I’m in the minority here but I think their Wheelie’s alt mold looks like ass. Not toon accurate at all. I’ll stick with the TR version, thanks.

Ah! I never bought from them so always thought they did 3D prints. I stand corrected.

But this being resin at $50 makes it worse. I get the transforming figure, but it's pretty simplistic. The rest are just installation parts and a sword. As I stated, I'm good with my kit.
