I'm seriously getting this just for the kickass Wheelie. Since I don't have SS Grimlock(and I'm not particularly interested since I'm going with Gigapower) I can just use the extra parts for customs. So no real loss.

Not sure how necessary filler parts for the bottoms of the robot feet really are, but I'm in.

Whelp, that was a no-brainer pre-order. Smashes every issue with the toy out of the park, and the fully-transformable Wheelie is just... *Italian "kiss" hand gesture*. I won't use the clear neck pieces and it would have been nice to have a red or orange sword and a less opaque chest piece but with these add-on pieces there's really no issues I have with this figure (I can easily recolor the sword anyway). I would have paid $80 for a Commander-class figure that included all this from the jump.

That looks pretty awesome, but that price is a bit much, especially since it is missing the only thing I consider 100% vital, a clearer/clear chest plate replacement. I think I would be tempted even at that cost if the chest was in there, and maybe an alt red sword blade.

Did the Scorponok sets ever come out? I preordered those day 1 and they keep getting delayed. I want to see something from DNA in hand before I order more

DNA's sets are pretty solid. I had an issue with a broken part right out of the box with my SS ROTF Megatron set, but that's been it and I've purchased a few from them.

Since the original Wheelie came with a ball jointed head, Maybe it can fit onto this new body in case you didn't like the new headsculpts.

Wait, what? So it’s just a brand new wheelie figure? The upgrade is that you throw away the stock wheelie?

Yeah, typically don't see Grimlock doing a lot of high kicks, but it does fill in a gap on the back of dino mode as well.

You might want to keep the slingshot and maybe the head.

Honestly, I think what they did here, creating an entirely new figure for an upgrade kit, should have been done for the Devastator one. Scrapmetal is a fun figure, but he's a pain in the ass and a hindrance when it comes to the hand mode. If they had given us the bulldozer Scrapmetal in the kit, it could have been great.

I imagine that was the whole intention. It looks like its been deliberately sized for compatibility with the old head. The biggest issue will probably be the color matching.

They at least did the MP scaled Bludgeon that was based on his HFTD/ROTF voyager figure

WHAT? The Nonnef chest plate does not screw in? Why would they do that? It would have been super easy to provide the two screw boss features in the part like the stock version. How does it attach? Friction? Snap features?

I'd completely forgotten that Susanoo was theirs.

Wheelie's roughness is due to the fact that the figure is pretty damned small. Smaller than the previous Legends-class Wheelie, I'm pretty sure. And then on top of that, it seems like they're trying to keep the cost pretty low as well. Doesn't even have rolling wheels, for instance. So it's a tiny, simplified take on the character.

I completely forgot they did Susanoo. I tend to think of DNA as a company that makes really good upgrade kits.
