I don’t get why this set doesn’t have a clear chest piece.

 

dont get how people are willing to spend leader class prices on something like this? all of these parts equal to about to a very simple deluxe. i was excited for this set until i saw the price.

 

Im good with the noneff set. Screw that toy s**t. Dont need a wheelie. Legends Wheelie is fine. 

 

I will have TWO that I will be wanting to get rid off for a decent / fair price. ( 20USD plus shipping ?? ) problem is I live in Japan so one would have to pay international shipping

I am happy with my Takara legeneds one and have no interest in this one

I get why some buy stuff for the Titan Class ones (I don't as I personally thing they are very much OK for what they are and what they cost and whatever.) I get why they do it on MP's.

But on $20, $30, $40 and $50 walmart toys? Must suck having that much OCD to the point of spending AS MUCH AS THE DAMN FIGURE costs.

I mean to each their own but lol.

 

I\'m normally all in on DNA sets, but I think im gonna pass on this one. The gap fillers were done for cheaper some time ago. The new Wheelie is ambitious, but I\'m more inclined to keep using my Legends Wheelie or wait for a new deluxe or core class than use this. 

 

So Wheelie does not transform into this?



I'm waiting for them to do an upgrade for the Kingdom Ultra Magnus.

 

This would make Grimmy almost a $100 figure for, let's be honest here, parts we should have received with the main line release. Anyone who buys this is a sucker.

OH! Here's an idea for DNA: Take the Wheelie figure, do a repaint/remold of it, and sell it separately as Dion! When was the last time we had a Dion figure?

Now I'm interested to see how this would scale with the PotP Orion Pax figure.

 

The fact that Hasbro gave us a slug version of Wheelie that doesn't transform... in a line of toys that by general consensus should transform... was unforgivable. I hate to dip into the upgrade pool simply to get a Wheelie that transforms plus a few superfluous filler pieces, but if I must, I must.

 

Heck yeah, Love everything from DNA. Can\'t wait for this to finally get shipped out sometime late 2028 

 

The upgrade it needs would require a completely new white Optimus.

Just wish the chest on wheelie was pink. Also needs some gap fillers for the screw holes on grim's head

 

Very interesting, the set is being sold for $50 not counting tax and shipping so that would bring the total value of the figure to $100, its a tough decision, Grimlock is already great, the wheelie, I just use TR Wheelie, there's the sword which is great, the fillers i can take or leave, hmm, pros and cons and then I also have to consider resale value

 

I was about to get the Nonneff kit but this does most of what I want from that and more. I do wish he came with a crown but I’m sure there’s stand-alone crown I can find. Plus man, WHEELIE

 

At $100+ With the upgrade kit.... might as well just buy the MP figure...

 

I see where your coming from, logic checks out, but you gotta think that a proper tiny non slug wheelie would have sucked budget out of Grim, whos nigh flawless. I think the wheelie is meant to be exclusively an accessory for Grimlock, in the same way that MP figs come with really weirdly specific accessories from very specific episodes. He's not meant to be good on his own, he's meant to make Grimlock look better by riding him, or hanging on his shoulder. Would it have been so hard to give the lil shit knees? no, but i do understand their choice to leave him pretty dang simple.

 

I wish they did something about the weird gap on the back in his dino mode. Everything about this figure is near perfect except the back and the tail. It just looks weird.
