Who did you go with? I got in stock notifications for both standard primal kits, sdcc primal kit and the predaking kit (must have gotten the last preorder because they are sold out now)

 

Kapow for Predaking (shipped, should be here by Wednesday) and Optimal 1 (not in yet), RobotKingdom for Optimal 2 and SDCC (Delayed several times until bitten by CNY).

 

That sucks dude. I held off on the predaking kit until it was almost too late because I didn’t want to pay the price for predaking himself. Ended up getting him for $63 brand new

 

Thanks. I was much the same way with SDCC Primal and his upgrade kit - "I already have the regular one, I don't need the black repaint'. I only cracked on that a few weeks ago.  

 

The black one looks pretty sweet in hand, especially if you pair him with other black repaints. I use mine as multi dimensional servants of unicron

 

Yeah, it was getting Nemesis Prime and then Rodimus Unicronus that convinced me to go to the Repaint Side.

 

i cant wait i dont know how much longer i can last i hope my preorder gets done fast at the bbts . i am hopeing it gets there this week it sounding like it may get done this week. keeping fingers crossed so i can send my pile of loot out

Just saw TFSource has these in stock. Hopefully the EX kit for Throne Optimus is soon to follow as that’s what I’ve been waiting on.

 

BBTS started processing my copy of the EX kit yesterday. I ended up canceling it due to very recent events affecting my finances.

 

Has anyone gotten an invoice or shipping notification from Kapow Toys yet? I'm getting a bit antsy, but I've been bugging them like a little brother lately, so I don't want to email them again.

 

Mine from TCP will be arriving tomorrow. Will definitely be posting pictures of it. It’s the kit for the orange primal as well as the hand upgrade.

BBTS should be sending mine soon, and I also found the BH B Arms Micron (the blue flail guy) for cheap at etoysjapan to add the final classic Ultra Optimus Prime weapon.

 

I'm only seeing the one kit though. The plus kit isn't showing as in and I've had it on preorder for a while. Are you seeing the second set showing as in stock?

 

Looks like all the pending DNA kits I had in order hit my pile of loot. I didn’t hesitate to ship those out. Been waiting for the Primal ones especially. Got the reprolables for him but held off applying them until I had the upgrade parts for him too.

 

Received both primal kits today for the retail version. Didn’t get too much time to mess with it other then installation. Install was super easy obviously, there was some serious mold flack on the hands that need to be snipped off, tolerances are spot on, and everything stores on robot mode. Overall I’m super happy with how it looks! Will post pics tonight once I’m off work.

Finally able to mess with the kit a bit more.

Pros:
the color match is near spot on. Even squinting it’s hard to tell the difference.
Installing is very easy as previously stated and tolerances are very good. Even with all of the added weight he still stands fine. He holds his guns and swords just fine. (I’m no reviewer so overall I’m just happy with the kit)

Cons: quite a bit of plastic flare on the hands and the arm guards. And by quite a bit I mean I had to snip nearly every finger just so it could make a fist. The storage for the wheels inside of primals chest isn’t great and causes stress marks.

Still very happy with the kit though and this easily makes Primal a center peace on an upgrade happy shelf!
