Cool pics. I would split this kit with someone else since I don't want half of it but I am guessing that the parts I want the most (shoulders) are the same parts that everyone else wants the most.

Are you gonna paint up the Noah figure? Aside from no paint, the detail looks good from your pics.

Maybe someone can create an adapter to make it work. An upgrade kit for the upgrade kit.

Got my kit today. Kinda agree with PvP on most points in his review. DNA is getting really expensive and could be doing more

Ooof someone more talented than me needs to recreate those shoulders and sell em for 20 bucks.

I get these kits have extra "fluff" to cover the costs of manufacturing and production but 45 bucks or so is a tough pill to swallow for a couple of upgrades and more weapons than I, and I suppose many, actually want.

The grey bits on top of the shoulders do not need to be transferred from the original shoulders to the new ones

Got my kit in today. I already had the GoBetter kit but I wanted the shoulder upgrade. The GB smokestacks work without issue on the new shoulders which was also important to mean as I think it makes the alt mode look much better.

The GB cab filler and the new shoulders is a tight fit but it does work. I would be careful with both applied though. The DNA red plastic is also a shade darker than the original. Under lighting and in photos it’s not as noticeable as in hand. The QC on mine isn’t great as the side panels don’t fold up straight because of some poorly molded plastic on the joint. I also had trouble moving just the new shoulder joints without activating the old ones connected to the torso first.

I think I prefer the detailing on the GB calf fillers. It also helps make the legs look more full. The plastic on the DNA kit is much better though. I prefer the way the GB feet fold up but the DNA sculpt is much better so I think I’ll actually use them. Unlike PvP, I haven’t experienced that bad of instability. I’ll like use some Kiki’s regardless.

The sword and axe are very cool and I actually like the pink versions as well. I'll likely give those to the inevitable Nemesis Prime repaint. I actually feel like the blaster is a bit too big and obviously the lack of mirroring on the second one is lame. It’s a major improvement on the original though. I don't even consider the sad excuse of a blast effect. Noah is also completely irrelevant to me.

overall, I’m pretty happy with how the kit turned out just because the shoulders make him so much more fun to handle and having more weapons is a big improvement. However, I still feel like there wasn't enough for me to feel like it was worth paying more for the kit than the actual figure itself. I really wish there was two options, shoulders + legs/feet kit and the weapons.

I'd like to have some articulated hands and more detail on the calves and trailer hitches in particular.

If you fold up the leg panels like one would on a vanilla copy of the figure, how much do they protrude from the back of the cab? And could you send a photo of it?

Yes, thank you very much! A pity one can't have the upgrade smokestacks without having the leg panels do nothing in vehicle mode, but at least there's options.

Just to be clear, the smokestacks and cab fillers are from Go Better. With the stock DNA smokestacks, you could place the leg panels back in its default position without issue.

First time using a upgrade kit. What screws does optimus have in his arms or what screw driver do you use? >.<

#0 Phillips or JIS screwdriver. Make sure the tip of your Phillips screwdriver is shaved down to be flat if it didn't come that way so you get better engagement and don't strip the screws. A JIS screwdriver will already be the right shape.
