Exo-Suit Noah is just a solid piece of plastic and not at all articulated, is it? The figure would be very tiny so I can't be that surprised, but at that point why have him at all? It strikes me as a compromise like what we saw with SS86 Grimlock and Snarl including non-transformingversions of Wheelie and Daniel, they're the sort of thing you keep with the figure until something better comes along so you can chuck it into the parts drawer. Which is already something I'm not fond of Hasbro doing, so a 3P upgrade kit doing it as well just feels like a waste.

I like the sculpting on the cannons, and someone giving us rotating smokestacks that aren't 3D printed is nice. The part that enables ER trailer compatibility is also nice. The rest is kinda eh? The feet have been talked about at length in other threads, but it's fixing a symptom and not the problem of the legs doing their own thing when they should have copied the engineering of SS-38. The part to allow you to fold the leg tab in for robot mode is very nice but also extraneous, not something I really would have considered a mandatory fix.

And the weapons, I approve of DNA traditionally including 2 of each for symmetry reasons, but on the other hand I feel like it's going to inflate the cost quite a bit when there's not much reason to include two of the same part (particularly when Optimus only uses one of each in the actual movie). Sculpting and color looks good on all of them, at least.

This one feels like it is grasping at straws. Some of those pics I can't even tell the difference between the original and the upgraded version.

Meh. Would’ve traded out a bunch of the more superfluous accesories in favor of full-on replacement legs that transform differently to make a cleaner back of the truck.

Looks great. I don't think I'd need two arm-cannons, but two swords is fine. Two axes are a bit much since like the arm-cannon we only ever saw him with one.

Still, a definite buy over the other 3D-print upgrade kits out there.

I feel like a lot of the "leg upgrades" or leg replacements I see are just of people not transforming the legs and leaving them flat in truck mode, and this kit just seems to give you an adapter to do that more comfortably. DNA do great work but it's still a lot of money for what you get. Also the Noah was just unnecessary and the blast effects are pathetic. The cannons and swords are good, as is the axe but I feel like two axes was unnecessary especially with Primal also coming with one soon.

Looks awesome! Just having a hard time looking past the ugly bland gray plastic Hasbro used. If anything needs a premium finish, it's this one.

I\'m glad we have another option for the back, but I can\'t decide which looks worse. Hopefully someone will make entirely new lower legs that don\'t suck transformation wise. The feet folding up still looks bad imo, idk if it\'s as bad as all that blue bullshit hanging off the back but it\'s still bad

Awsome,  but tbh this Prime needs a premium finish. That grey plastic looks ugly.

Honestly the smokestacks and blaster alone were a good sell.

I kind of wish they tried to make some shins that fold away to look more like the SS38 Vehicle mode, but with more stability instead of what kind of is essentially like most Optimus truck beds

DNA Design has been killing it lately with these upgrade kits. I didn't realize it until I saw my pre-orders that I had all three current projects pre-ordered at bbts.

It's a testimant to how good the base figure is, that you can get all those upgrades already via 3d printed DIY versions. Besides the paint job and the shoulders it's a pretty damn good figure.

That makes the truck mode look so much less terrible. I don\'t understand why we had MP-10 with folding shin plates to mask the front of the legs in vehicle mode, but they haven\'t replicated it ever since. But I\'d much prefer the obvious legs than the giant blue kibble mess on the back of the truck like the figure currently has.

Why didn't the upgrade keep the shins on the back of the cab and just hinge the junk flat? The robot legs on the back are a sideways move more than an upgrade.

Any other companies doing legit upgrade kits? I'm not talking about 3D print stuff. I was hoping for a new pair of legs or shins similar to SS38
