To anybody who's got their kit already since STILL waiting on BBTS

Do the slippers/new feet the kit offer resolve Menasor's forward-leaning problem?

 

No. The screw at the hinge where the foot panel swings down to form the foot is the problem. It just needs to be tightened. ziltama figured this one out. Works quite well, honestly.

 

Does anybody know if "The Chosen Prime" charges any sale tax? Cos it doesn't seem like they charge me tax for one of my pre-order, or if they charge tax once I request to ship out? Anybody purchase from them before?

 

I believe like most online stores it depends on your state. I never get taxed, but have heard that people in the state they are in (forget which) sometimes do.

 

Interesting, anybody in state of Florida knows?

 

Absolutely shocking, but I just got the preparing to ship notice from BBTS. Headed to POL until MP-57 drops.

I got my pre order processing soon email from BBTS yesterday, amusingly yesterday is also when I bought Breakdown.

 

It's like a mini gun from hell.

 

Still wish they'd have instead just included the G1 rifle instead, since Motormaster needs it too.

 

As soon as I have the kit in hand I'm going to mess with the scale of the STLs have to find the best fit for this Menasor.

 

I came into some extra money so I figured I'd go ahead and reorder this kit from BBTS since they will apparently be shipping it out soon. Hopefully it's in the next couple days cause I should be getting my Breakdown from Amazon tomorrow.

 

In a similar way, I canceled my pre-order when I got the notice that it would be coming soon because I wanted to wait and put the charge over to the next month's credit card billing cycle. Had some other pre-orders come in early, so I wanted to re-allocate the toy expenditures to spread things out better. I got the Menasor kit and the Black Zarak kit back on pre-order, but I guess I pushed myself back down in the queue with BBTS because of my shenanigans.  

 

Just got charged for the kit from BBTS. The $4 flat rate shipping usually gets here pretty quickly so hopefully I should have it by the weekend.

 

Same, but probably won't have mine for at least a week. Still kind of dreading installing the new thighs.

 

Just got mine from BBTS. Despite the pain of attaching the new thighs, i'm very satisfied with my purchase. Even with the janky trailer storage it's a fun kit.

Also decided to use the small sword to turn the rifle into a bayonet

Had my kit for a couple of weeks now. I installed everything just havent had the time to mess around with it like I want to. Going to transform to alt mode, take some pics and then finally combine them. So far, only thing I don't like is the new chest piece doesn't lock into place. It's only held by friction and comes off easily SMH

 

My kit is out for delivery today, so I'll get to assemble it after I get home from work. Sounds like a fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
