Well, yes, eventually. I don't even have Legacy Motormaster, or any of the Stunticons.  

I was holding off buying them until someone makes an upgrade kit. And, well, it's next to impossible to find Motormaster at a decent price now, so yeah, it might be a wee little time to post pics. 

 

I suspect that won't work because the DNA Slippers would cause obstruction for the front ends of the car on the shin.

 

Hmm, you are right, the full length car nearly reaches to the ground. I may have to lift the clip assembly higher, I don't know how that may work, I don't have the vehicles either to see what I'm working with under those cars. Well I guess I won't know until I have all the components to experiment with.

Looking great so far (I’m yet to install it and mess around with it properly).

Only thing is it didn’t include the bonus translucent sword   No complaints about the standard upgraded one - it looks wicked - but I was hoping to score both.

Ok, this kit on Bombusbee is $54.99, but the one on Show.Z is $72.99. Am I to assume that the BBB doesn't have the red blade, and the S.Z does, because of the price difference?

 

Shipping is not included in bbb price so it'll be higher then that.

DNA likes to state there is some special exclusive piece for preordering and it ends up being in all the sets, no matter who you buy it from. The boxes also never seem to acknowledge the extra's on them either so unless you open them, you don't know whats inside.

But as decops states below, the shipping is why there is a difference. Add that in, and they are usually very close before any discounts or savings they both give at check out:

Yeah, that's what I thought, hence my confusion.

 

I asked TCP about the DNA kit, as I'm sitting on a stash that will be bumped up above free shipping level. They expect this in a few weeks, barring logistics issues. So, those in the same boat as me...

 

Had gotten the front-facing adapters a while ago, since I love the car forward/toy look and just installed most of the kit. Even with the slippers, his feet look small but overall looks great. It does make him front heavy and tend to lean forward and any side or back view has awkwardly empty calves.


He looks great with 3rd party legends figs too!

Also the adapter to store his sword on his back is pure crap and won't hold the sword at all.

I will need to do some more work to get it to... well, work, once I get it in hand. I've been able to purchase Motormaster, so that's one down, 4 more to go. 

 

I have gotten the adapter to hold the sword securely, although it can be hit-and-miss.

Instead of connecting it “straight on” so that it lines up flush, you kinda have to “angle it” in.

I know that probably doesn’t make much sense and it’s hard to explain why there should be any difference, but that’s been my experience since I got the kit (admittedly only a couple of days ago).

They definitely could’ve done the connection better - maybe with a 5mm peg, or two tabs instead of one.

 

Got the set in from Toy Arena. Does *not* come with the bonus sword.

 

As far as I know, the DNA preorder bonuses are only through ShowZ, which sort of but not really helps just the higher cost.

I like the standard sword better since it matches most media. Haven’t decided if I’m going to keep or sell the extra sword.
