Upgrade kits in general shouldn’t be necessary tbh. The fact that the ironhide kit had to exist at all is kinda depressing.

 

Didn't the studio series 86 Grimlock upgrade kit do this as well?

Yeah the ones that give the figure basic functionality are great but also depressing at the same time. The ones that just give extra weapons or cool extras or LEDs are just fun.

 

I'm hoping the Screamer arms match the KO with the upgraded paint pretty well... I still ordered the set just for Frenzy, though! Never ordered one of these upgrade kits before, but having a Frenzy that's painted well and transforms (even if it's not into the boombox) will be great for my movie 'con shelf.

 

Release an upgrade kit with a full blown mini figure

 

Ah, I think it’s down to price and shipping. It’s probably not worth the expense and minimal amount of money they get if they sold small kits that are like $10-$15. So they most likely bump it to their $25-$30 minimum range to make it worth the hassle. If they didn’t do a transforming frenzy, I imagine they would have added more small upgrades for other figures.

 

What peg that keeps it together???

Hey guys. Anyone here knows how to contact DNA? I would like to know if they plan to make this upgrade compatible with the official MPM SC only. I mean color scheme. Here is the answer from ShowZ.

 

Most likely it would be available for both mpm and bmb versions. Not sure about tattooed one though.

What makes you think that? It can be delayed same way as everything else  
I'm not too concerned about slight delay as long as we get one color version for original MPM and another for BMB. Has DNA ever released 2 color versions before?

And as far as I know, DNA has released Upgrade Kits variations for all three Siege, Spoiler Pack and Kingdom Ultra Magni.
So perhaps there's a chance for a Tatty Screamer upgrade kit.

 

That would make 3 versions: MPM, BMB and BMB tattooed.

 

I'm just gonna paint it myself to match my tatted BMB screamer.
