Shoulder ratchets came out of nowhere. I'm definitely happier that it's included, fixes Rampages problem, but it needs to get released soon!

As much as I love giant swords, if the figure can't properly wield it it's nearly useless. I'm a bit underwhelmed for now.

I like the sword. It is ridiculous in all the right ways. Can't wait to have it all in hand. He is going to look fantastic.

Really excited about this set. Price is a bit high, but a lot of parts are included. Still haven't opened up my Predaking, but, combined w/ Shockwave Labs back piece, this is how I want Predaking to look, more athletic and playable than that overdetailed mess of Feral Rex.

Well worth the money, but I'll still be ditching the wings. I like the more reasonable stock ones. I just do.

I don't mind the sword being big.
    Looks "fitting" for the "king".

I've had this on preorder since August. Looks like it will be worth the wait.

I watched this the other day and after watching it i want it. At first way before any videos of it,....no lie i was like i dunno cause it could be brittle. I have the construction set but you never know about 3P parts. So after the review Ben did i was sold from the looks of it and easily attached parts.

I wonder if this will actually ship out to US retailers before CNY.

Glad to see this is finally coming out! I have the Shockwave Labs kit, mostly because I thought their back filler doubling as a rocket pod for Divebomb was kinda amusing, but I feel this set really completes the look. My only disappointment is it looks like you can't tab the spine in if you have the Shockwave Labs back filler, but I'm hoping there's at least enough clearance to lay the spine somewhat flat on top of the filler.

Anyways, yes, the wings are pretty big, but I feel the stock wings are a little too short. Maybe something in between would have been better, but I'll take too long over too short. The sword is also huge, but he definitely needs a sword, and I like it being able to double as melee weapons for the Predacons. I'm also glad the new fists do indeed fit in the feet, I wasn't sure from the pictures.

Watched Ben's review but sadly the issue if the shoulders are strong enough to hold the sword wasn't addressed. And given that he only showed a pose of Predaking with sword seemingly resting on the knee, I suspect the answer is "no".

The shoulders can support the sword now that the new ratchet is in place. There are a lot more clicks to the shoulder ratchet and it's a slightly thicker piece. He'll be able to hold the sword up just fine. I think he had it posed that way due to size constraints. His studio for filming is in a shed in the backyard, I believe. He said he has space constraints in one of the videos before this one.

I didn't think it would be a problem with the new ratchets but watching that previous Chinese review again, the sword is still too heavy for the ratchets. Look at the 7:59 mark. I'm still getting this, but at least I know what to expect.

***UPDATE: Based on the ratchet installation pic Cheem just posted above, the reviewer installed it incorrectly, so we still don't know if the arms hold up with the sword.

So with the upgraded ratchets installed correctly he holds the sword? That's a very good news and puts this kit again in my to buy list.

I really like that the hand has backward movement at the wrist. Always liked that articulation point, which is often omitted.
The side fillers look good, but my excitement of the spine piece is a bit less now that it looks silly under Razorclaw's alt mode.
The addition of the new ratcheting pieces is a nice touch, and even though I don't plan on using the sword at all I appreciate that they made the handles 5mm compatible.
I still wish the set had a new gun instead of a sword.
