http://www.gametrailers.com/player/29964.html While we know next to nothing on the game play and controls of "The Force Unleashed", the new engine's are freaking IMPRESSIVE. DMM is the most impressive in my book so far. I'm really excited for the future of game's with these engine's incorporated in them. I am annoyed though at LucasArts giving PC gamers the shaft on this one. PC gamers MADE LucasArts. I'll get it for the 360, or the PS3, but still rots that it won't hit the PC. At least not for a year or more after release.
Great looking engine tech, althougth I still need convincing about the game itself. I'm not expecting Lucasarts to recover from the prequel marketing rot as quickley as Dark Horse has, but i'm hoping that it'll at least be the first step. The fact that Lucas has his finger in this pie doesen't exactly fill me with confidence thougth, especially since it seems to be turning into the next Shadows of the Empire.
Another "Shadows of the Empire" is exactly what this is. Games, soundtracks, toys, books, comics. Big marketing blitz.
Nope, I was a media whore for that whole little era. I remember being so into it the entire year. The Soundtrack, the book, the game, the comics. I owned the Outrider. Good times.
I LOVED Shadows of the Empire. I am glad to see another official media blitz like this. I saw the Lego Rogue Shadow and was trying to think of a reason to buy it for my kid. It comes with a cool battle damaged Lego Vader. . As for the game, I will probably buy it for the 360 for the awesome graphics and for the Wii for the PvP Wiimote Lightsaber fights (provided they are like my imagination thinks they should be).
