so i recently started looking for one of these models and cant seem to find one (thats not the $300 one on ebay). does anyone know where i can find one of these (perfer under 150?) im also not sure if this is the right place to post this, but i thought id try.
Check the Asian secondary market sites Mandarake and Jungle. They haven't rereleased this one yet like they did DMK01 Optimus, so even Asian sites like the two aforementioned will list it at $100 or so: MANDARAKE Online World Shop That said, even with a cheap shipping method tacked on (SAL) it'd probably be cheaper going that route than eBay, barring an auction that gets ignored or an unusually low BIN listing. On Mandarake it's easiest to search in Japanese characters, so you can use that listing, run it through Google Translate and figure out which translate to which key terms (I think Bumblebee is "バンブルビー"), then save searches for those in Figinstock. Jungle's easier to search on since they have an English site, so you don't have to worry about searching in Japanese there. Keep in mind, for any orders under 5000 yen Mandarake will tack on a 500 handling charge, and Jungle will tack on a 5% handling fee for all international/non-Japanese orders. It would be nice if they rereleased this as well. I like it, but I don't $100 like it and would feel odd paying more for it than I did the DMK Optimus.
