Build so far...
Looking really good dude. I like the vibrancy of the colors you're using a lot.
Awesome so far!
really admire ur prep work but all the initial shines were lost under the weathering.
but it's still a wip, let's see what magic u'll turn it out.
looking forward to see ur finish.
Are you referring to the metal skeleton loosing shine? Yes, this will happen when weathered, but shiny bits are peaking through. If you watch the movie, his skeleton isn't very shiny but has bits of metal glinting through the dirt.
I have successfully used the flame stencils on the forearm armor. It's an involved process, but with patience, you get fantastic results. I will be doing the rest of the flames today, and will post updates on those as well. This is coming out nicely.
Those look awesome pixelmagic! Can't wait to see what the rest of them look like,
Awesome outcome! I also got the stencils last week and they worked great! The results were fantastic. Thanks for the help with the flames!
the wiper effect is neat. lotsa love and patience went into this.
I was hoping someone would notice the wiper weathering. To say lots of patience went into it is an understatement. I had no idea what I was doing when I started. I have never done a custom before. I had to strip a few pieces of their paint like 5 times. I think I have gotten my technique down now though.
waaa... straight away dived into deep end of the pool for a 1st timer.
u picked the learning curve quite fast.
sometimes murphy's law happen. bummer.
great spirit and tenacity.
Definitely looking good!! I like how dirty it's looking dude.
that looks amazing! will you do the pinstriping?
I am going to attempt it. I'm still looking at options to achieve it. I tried a small brush and enamel, but couldn't control my hand steady enough. Looking into Pigma Micron Pins to attempt it now.
Not to sure the micron pens will work to well. I think they run with a clear coat applied. Maybe a gundam marker?
Humm. Maybe I will look into that.
Even if you dont pinstripe, this is one insane custom.
Damn this continues to impress
Finished painting all the flames. Still working on figuring out the pinstriping...
