I meant the dashboard for the xbox, the main screen before you choose to load up the game. I believe it's under the community tab not the in-game news ticker.

 

aah ok. The dashboard community stuff is regional so they just didn't bother where I am (Australia)

What is with the scientist Melee attack? i got hit about 5 times the last match and the same scientist hit me and sent me 200 feet across the room, and they did not have that poke thing, are they cheating with a modded xbox?

 

Is this also for PS3? It says nothing about double xp in the game's lobby

Really? I have not bothered to put the game back into my systems since I finished the single player game. No reason because of all the MP problems I was having. It could be possible that the PS3 is not getting Double XP this weekend.

Ah, man. Developers only have XBOX, huh? I guess they didn't want to battle real gamers 

...if they did play on the PS3 they could see all sorts of out of control glitches. Characters arms visible while in vehicle mode and no forward movement while in vehicle mode, which happens to me from time to time

No it didn't. I know what I saw. I sat there and read the notices as it scrolled, and there was no mention of double xp. All it said was the first pack of DLC was available with four new maps and five new characters and they thanked those who gave feedback.

Now, if it says so now, that's a different story. At the time of my original post, there was no such news.

 

Sweet. I just joined the PC version, so its nice that double XP weekend is'nt just for consoles.

actually, i think the servers a a little bit more stable now. the biggest issue would be the host leaving. now i only get a little lag every now and then but nothing major. though last night in escalation the lag did get so bad i rubber band all over the place

 

More like PSN doesn't provide the infrastructure to easily set up a game with developers event.

 

Uncharted 2 did it, so...

 

It was also a PS3 exclusive. Given the choice between a multiplatform game, it's easier to do on 360.
