Hahaaa.... I bet that feedback shit is BS.....
I'm not saying the game is bad but it needs more support and Multiplayer has to stop failing....
I think Multiplayer is the down point of the game, but thats just me.
They are trying to be like MW2/BF/Halo.... and the multiplayer is basically thoses but mixed with transformers.
Basically, Multiplayer could be better....
But kind of getting off topic.

Oh and P.S. - SINGLE PLAYER = EPIC WIN!

 

I'm in love with the multiplayer, I think they did a fantastic job, they did indeed combine all the best parts from other games. (thought I read that somewhere) Anyhow, if there was a real way to send them feedback they'd probably have included more colors too. I really am curious as to where they are getting this feedback seeing as their e-mail never worked.

 

Why are you guys bashing it? The game is great.

They get their feedback from a number of transformers sites, probably this one included. Yes they need their own forum. But I remember an interview before release where they said they stalked TF sites (and even mentioned this one) for information.

Multiplayer is great too. It's not the end all be all but it is a big focus of the game and succeeds; growing pains aside. They'll take the lessons learned here and make the sequel better, or try to anyway.

I'm surprised by the negativity.

 

By no means an I bashing the game, I simply think they need their own forum so we can know they're hearing what we say.

All I want to hear is, "We patched the multiplayer problems. Now you can play for as long as you like".

I'm sorry, this is a great game but.... Those online issues pushes this game out of "Must BUY" into rental/gamefly/clearance sale.

When I buy games... the Multiplayer is so important. As i've mentioned in other threads, i'm not dropping 60 bucks for 6 hours of single player. I dropped 60 for that super sweet Multiplayer HM championed for months and frankly, I feel ripped off.

 

My apologies you two. I agree completely that they need their own forums. In fact the whole reason I'm here is just because I needed a place to talk about the game.

For those claiming the multiplayer issue break the gameit sucks you have problems with it. But from my view point the issues occur very to extremely rarely. So either I'm extremely lucky or others are extremely picky. Either way, you've said your piece. Can you please not turn every thread into a "THIS GAME IS BROKEN!" thread?

 

It is.... I can play Madden, MW, MW2, Resident Evil, NCAA Football, Red Dead Redemption, Borderlands, etc all the time. I get dropped maybe once every 20 games or every other day. On this game, I get dropped at least 2 times every 20-30 Minutes.

 

i like how he says stuff about trying to make the Hardcore happy... so he gets this 12 year old from down the street to play the game.

Honestly i do think they heard that fans wanted a chance to use all the pre-order guys but maybe took it as a sign that they could get away with doing less. we shall see when it comes to the 2nd DLC (if their is any)

 

I'd buy DLC 1 twice if it'd help us get a DLC 2.

 

If we get a DLC 2 I'm sure Zeta Prime and Dead End will be part of it.

 

How did you come to the conclusion that people in this thread are bashing the game? Even if they were, however, that would be their right. Just because you like it doesn't mean all others need to. 99% of the posters at TWW2005.com have had nice things to say about the game. The biggest complaint this game has seen is its muliplayer aspect, the part of the game Matt talked up more than the game's story, so when gamers sound pissed about this feature not being up to snuff, I can understand why. 1,000 hours of play and they didn't see these issues many here talk about

Well, if you look at the ratings and forums the week the game came out, just about everyone reviewing the game and those that bought it spoke very highly of it--most gaming sites have their ratings along with those of their users and the users ratings are usually higher than the gaming sites.

We all spoke highly of the the day it came out for a few weeks. It wasn't until we all finished playing the core game and shifted to Multiplayer mode did we see the problems. Is High Moon Studios cherry picking reviews? Maybe. However, whever they're getting their info from isn't exactly wrong: we gave them those numbers they can use to back up their claim.

DLC shows they still support the game after its launch, and I'm sure more will follow. If they're supporting the game with extra maps and characters, I'm hopeful that they'll send some fixes sometime down the road too. Hopefully sooner than later, though some of the problems we're facing online may no be easy fixes.

I'd like to see the easiest fixes given to us now and the more complex ones later on when they're ready. I don't want to have to wait for a very long time for one big fix to come out.

Online play IS fun; however, getting kicked from play, losing XP, having your system time out time after time or a sore loser of a hosts leaving 'cause things aren't going his/her way every day (several times a day) makes a person not want to play for a while or ever again.

 

Well, let's all just remember that High Moon are not the ones solely responsible for the game. They are the deveolopers yes, and they seem to have pride in their work. But they are also working with Activision, which probably has them having to deal with plenty of red tape.
