Not really, I see it as a boon. All you need is a sticker and voila, SG Trailbreaker. Toyhax has got me covered. Did the same for Guard (SG Ironhide), Lift-Ticket (SG Hoist), and will be doing the same for Burnout (SG Skids). Even though it's not official as there is no such thing as an official SG Grapple, I'm thinking of doing it for Hauler, too.

It's honestly more of a condemnation on Funpub than Hasbro. They set the trend of repurposing older decos into Shattered Glass when they should have been mostly inventing new decos. Now the precedent is set, so to speak.
Same reason Starscream had an Earth mode when he visited Earth with Skyfire four million years before humans invented fighter jets? I dunno. Well, here. We know the Quintessons sold their robots to aliens all over the galaxy to fight their wars and serve them and whatever. Maybe the Quints sold robots to the humanoid inhabitants of the planet Diakron, who gave them vehicular modes similar to those of future Earth because form follows function. There's all sorts of directions to go with it.
You and me both. Honestly I’d also like to see some Decepticons. Loud Pedal to start, but I think a Yellow Trailbreaker with the purple Decepticon logo has potential. Unless I’m mistaken we’ve only gotten GS Exhaust. Red Mirage could go Decepticon as well. Diaclone F-15 Raptor redeco of Starscream, but with a new head to make Leader-1 would also be kind on snazzy. Reboots/Red Skids and Blue Hoist are still up for grabs as well.
If they couldn’t give us the Diaclone head, those cheapos should have at least painted the mushroom pegs on the back wheels like they did with Lift Ticket, lol.
reboost red mirage Yellow trail breaker with toy head are the ones I wanted . I would have picked this up had it a different head I miss the 3rd parties of old who would have done heads for this.
I wonder if there is any chance of Nonneff doing a head, they just recently did a Rubbish head for Wreckgar maybe they can do a toy head for this guy. Dont know of any other 3rd party doiing heads recently

Nice bot mode but they still have that ugly exposed bot kibble in vehicle mode. They really shoulda fixed that.
I was on the fence about Breaker, but that blue paint job looks amazing in these photos. Hopefully I can pick one up to add to the Diaclone shelf sometime soon.
Hype, but question. Is he really the only selects figure for now? He was revealed what felt like ages ago.... ...then again, we got targetmaster Cyclonus not so long ago.... This selects cycle is weird
Agreed. I'd buy a second copy if it had a variant SG faction symbol. Same for many of the other SG or SG-adjacent figures released recently. (no, I won't reprolabel them; I shouldn't have to. Hasbro released variants of figures before, they can do it again)

Why bother anymore with Generations Selects in terms of Diaclone coverage, when Legacy is devoting figures to the “Diaclone Universe?”
