If you're referring to Megatron, the hands are KFC upgrade hands for MP12. I made my own adapter to attach them.

Nice work! I'll be watching this thread with great interest. Are you going to post all the RED figs in this one or are you going to give each one their own?

Tech time: How much filament does it take to do one figure like this?

Just going to stick them all in here if I do more. Blaster is most likely next up. I haven't paid attention to how much filament the complete figure requires, but it isn't much. Definitely more filament friendly than when I was printing MP scaled figures.

Nice! I know for some reason folks have issue with RED-style figures because they don't transform but I like them for the simple pick up n play/GIJoe aspect of them. That, and they're nice custom aids. Oddly folks don't mind paying more for Super7 figures but gripe over $20 RED figs.

I imagine! I'm just asking and picking you and a few others' brain because I want to make the self-printing jump myself sometime early next year so I'm trying toget a handle on how much I can get out of a roll.

People who have strong feelings about "partsforming" or "non-transforming" TF toys have too much time on their hands, and I honestly dgaf about those kinds of opinions which is why I mostly avoid dialogue with the majority of the collector community. Only issue I have with the RED figures is they aren't the most "mature" looking designed toy figures, and give off strong "kiddie" vibes with their soft sculpts. I think they're cool toys though.

Your customs and add-ons have developed a cohesive style of their own from figure to figure. And it's a great style. The proportions of this are better than any RED figure so far as well.

... jk, I currently use Creality printers. Cheap and easy to work on and upgrade. FDM printing only.
