Powermasters for TF3?

 

Haven't seen District 9 but I certainly don't think another director could do as bad a job as Bay does with any of his movies.

 

They should stop making TF3 and reboot the franchise and do it right with a good director not a hack who bases the plot of his movies around cars blowing up and shots of asteroids tearing through buildings as the camera pans through the peoples reactions at a upward angle.

PETER JACKSON is what we need

Because if anyone can make an adaptation of something without removing major characters, inserting romance, and sucking the personality out of characters, it's Peter Jackson.

 

I cant believe people are complaining about D9s shaky cam. The reason for the shaky cam was because it was made to look like a documentary, so the look was as if someone was holding the camera like a normal person would.

Micheal Bay had no excuse other than hes a terrible story board writer.

What D9 and FOTF had in common.

Both films had aliens with barely discernable faces.

Both films had really annoying human characters.

Both films had me ready to leave the cinema after 10 minutes.

Ya know Cameron´s Avatar is gonna have caveman standing up to humans with modern weapons like mechs and gunships? And people complained about humans vs transformers... Stop masterbating over Cameron, it´s annoying.

 

Why is that posting a preference for James Cameron, a director with some good Sci Fi movie making chops, seen as slavish?


I think the man could direct a better Transformers film than Bay can since two of Cameron's biggest movies are the sort of films TF should be measured against. I speak of course of Terminator 2 and Aliens.

 

Guys, regardless of if you like him or not it its Paramounts final call. Bay just raked in 830+ mill for the company and i dont think Paramount cares for the fandom's cries because the general audience ate it up. Plus admit it we will all see TF3 no matter what so Paramont has our $$$. bay will direct unless one of you crazy pissed off fans kills him  

 

I'd love to see a Blomkamp Transformers movie. I though District 9 was great, and it seems like his directing style would deliver something unique and entertaining.

Yup, you really got no idea, too busy trying to look like a critic and screaming at Bay to know anything.

But just to make you slightly less misinformed, Bay is not the "storyboard writer", neither is ROTF a Armageddon scene re-use (just in case that you really actualy thinks that they use the same scenes, which i wouldn't doubt).

 

So when the Transformers are coming down from space and one goes through a building and its a shot of people in "AWE" from a upward angle thats not the exact scene from Armageddon?

Since we see masterbation over Bay, Orci and Kurtzman on a daily basis, surely there's room for a little Cameron masterbation.

Cameron is a great director look at Aliens, T1 T2, Titanic (i heard its good will never see Titanic), The Abyss. All great movies.
