    why does everyone display his vehicle mode like the instructions show he looks much better like this

    Can't say I see the difference, but then again, I'm not a keen observer of the mould...

    Ermmm...i dunno I suspect most don't display him in alt-mode at all, plus haven't you got him upside down?

    Personally, I actually like the way Hasbro has him positioned (it is the official alt-mode for him). As it is now, I don't plan on getting him, but if I did, I would display him in bot-mode. There are only a couple of TF's that I display in alt-mode.

    Can you take a picture of how the instructions show, so we can see the difference?
    I can't find any Animated figures anywhere yet, so I cannot tell you how I display him as per the instructions.

    They aren't out yet (to the OP: This minor detail might have something to do with why no one can tell you how they display their Megatrons)

    Personally, I'm pretty fond of how Hasbro has it.

    That's pretty much how I intend for the alt mode to look like when I get him. Sure, properly he looks like Serenity, but in "reverse" like this, I think he looks a lot better IMHO.

    Instructions are out. I even sent Optimus Scourge a copy of mine. The only figure I don't have an official sheet for currently is Voyager Prime, and D Banks posted good photos of his in his thread in the news forum.
