If this is the wrong section to post this, I apologize ahead of time.

To save space, I put up a shelf to put a bunch of my Masterpiece/3rd Party Masterpiece Transformers.

Unfortunately, due to the fact that the shelf is higher and I'm vertically challenged (aka short), it is hard for me to see all of my figures. Can anyone offer any suggestions for steps or blocks I can buy to give a few a boost? Especially a lot of my car-bots and seekers.

I'm sure people will chime in with fancy and or expensive options... my cheap fix is floral foam from the craft store (like what you stick flower arrangements in to). All of my shelves take advantage of vertical space with multi-tiered rows (think stadium seating at the theatre) and I'd rather save the real money for more toys and not just nice clear plastic boxes or whatever.

Great suggestion Soma. I think that would make sense for me since I think I can just cut some blocks as needed since I just wanna boost up a few of them. I will look into that.

Although I am open to more suggestions, I definitely agree that I don't want to spend too much money. Especially since I put up the shelf as a temporary display option.

I buy Ferrero Rocher boxes when they are on sale. They come in a few sizes and I get to eat the Ferrero Rochers. Win win!

I use this kind of thing

    Display Bridge Three Tiers

They're available in multiple sizes and colour finishes. This particular company is in the UK, but such things will be available pretty much everywhere. They may cost more than is warranted for a temporary shelf and they lack the advantage of including Ferrero Rocher, but they may still be worth looking into.

In the bathroom section at Target, there are various sizes of clear acrylic stackable containers...
I just grabbed a few of those.

There are some clear organizers sold at Homegoods / TJ Max / Marshalls that are about 15" and work great as risers for detolf displays when flipped over. I think they're about $4 each.

I use those plastic display cases meant for Beanie Babies. About 3" x 3" x 6" Lay them on their side. Two side by side take up a width of a detolf. Got a great deal for some on Amazon for about $1 each.

I like to use MP-10 trailers. Seriously, only my Hasbro Trailer is open in repair bay mode, my YOTH, TT and Eva trailers all have figures standing on them. And my TT Trailer also has all my extra MP accessories stowed in it.

I've used perspex risers that I have scavenged from model shops that are closing down, I even nabbed cheap ones off ebay that people have crafted. I know some people like to use upturned confectionery boxes that are clear and solid (Ferrero Rocher for example), here's a quick example of how I am making do before I get set up with Detolf cabinets again:
