I'm down for this Dwayne Johnson reboot of Bambi. Make Jason Statham the hunter, and I'm there. Little to no interest in Disney's remake though.
Maybe they'll show Bambi's mom get graphically hit by the bullets. Then show the hunters cutting her up in the field. Bambi finds the gutpile.
Not only am I not excited because it’s another pointless Disney remake, the writing team isn’t exactly full of inspiring choices. Captain Marvel is easily the weakest Marvel movie. Then you’ve got a couple writers who worked on Chaos Walking. That movie isn’t even out yet because it was delayed over an entire year due to extensive reshoots after its first screening. They also wrote Sierra Burgess; which was just an awful Netflix movie.
Yea, that way Bumbie's not sad this time, according to Disney's writers. Because dad was an evil deer dictator, and needed to die all along. He was working with the hunters to kill all the does for him. There you go Disney, I've written you're incredibly dumb Oscar winning plot for you. Also, Bumbie's now a girl.
People are already asking will this be real live action or a cartoon like lion king was but disney "claims" it's live action.
