Really wish they put in the save-your-place feature other streaming services have, it makes me reluctant to watch longer things like their movies since I tend to not have a lot of time to sit through a whole film at once, but I'm sure they will sometime. Otherwise, been watching some choice "Darkwing Duck" episodes this past weekend (though it irritates me to no end that they still won't have the "Hot Spells" episode on there).
We do have that on ours and so do others. Others say they don't so guess it's random! Someone even asked john campea about that and he said "you don't? Mine does" so it looks like it's random. In fact mine has a "start over" option added on the main page so I can start over the movie if I want! We watch half of Mulan then finished it the next day and it was right were we left off!
What if teaser. (not sure who the guy is at the end but he is not in English. Teaser is at the start of the video)
Pretty crazy that the service was already hacked. That said, love that the xmen series is available even if I have to figure out the corerct episode order on my own.
It's weird. The main thing is hackers 'stealing' accounts and then re-selling them online for cheaper. It's a curious problem because A) who the hell would even buy these accounts in the first place, and B) expect that they'd work / continue to work for longer than a few days before being found out? It was a dumb problem to have - and easily fixed - but when added to the slew of other issues they've been having since launch, it just compounded everything.
Thanks for the article. It's concerning that this happened this early, although it's not Disney's fault for users reusing the same password.
Disney Plus 'Continue Watching' Feature Is Coming Back in the Near Future - IGN Looks like they did put it in ever so briefly, but they took it out to iron out bugs.
Yeah, it was working on the PS4 for about a day but it was glitchy as heck. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it would restart the movie.
To follow up, I’m not saying Disney shouldn’t take any of the blame, because they should. How hackers got the data makes me wonder if they should have postponed the launch until December, to make sure the technical issues were sorted. But reusing a password is something no one should ever do, and I’m amazed people still do it.
This. Because the way it was done if anyone bothered to read the article (I know that's not in vogue anymore, it's more fun to just read the title and make assumptions) what they did was match the user names to previous sites that were already hacked and basically used the passwords from there. So it's equally an issue that people keep reusing passwords. At the very least use a series of variations on whatever your core password is. That said, Disney should have had better security so the information that did leak didn't.
Say, I just realised it’s been a week since Disney+ started, so that means the 7 days trial is up. Anyone plans to continue with the service? BTW, for people in Australia and New Zealand: Disney+ is now live in Australia and New Zealand: here’s how to sign up | TechRadar Luckily people. Meanwhile, I’m still sitting here, waiting for it to come here...
I wonder if eventually we’ll get more Animated Marvel shows in addition to What If? Maybe a revival of X-Men, Gargoyles and Darkwing Duck, maybe more Marvel Animated Series similar to Avengers Assemble, Ultimate Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy but now the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, Dr Strange......
Supposedly this is why all the Disney XD Marvel series were canceled because they want to work on some new stuff exclusive to the streaming service. Though I'd take that with a grain of salt.
Sadly things have not been the same since EMH(as well as SSM and W&tX) was cancelled. The follow up series can all be summed up in one word, cheap.
Moon girl is still coming to Disney XD so they have that yet. Top 10 most watched plus shows. I think you can guess what first place is. These were the 10 most-watched Disney+ shows during launch week
