Now Disney is making a live-action Beauty and the Beast - The Week

Now this getting the live action treatment.

 

Makes you wonder which Disney animated film is next for live action treatment at this rate.

Though I wouldn't mind it too much if this was an adaptation or somewhat inspired by the Broadway musical version of Beauty and the Beast.

That's an interesting choice. Now I wonder who'll be the Beast.

And this is a show/film that Ron Perlman should guest star in.

 

Oooookay... So this is a thing with Disney now to remake animated classics into live-action?

So will stuff like Aladdin be next? I'd make a Robin Williams comment, but I don't want to come off as distasteful.

 

Nice to see that Emma is still on-board for this. I'm definitely looking forward to this movie. As for any other live-action adaptations of past Disney animated films I would like to see made... the only one that I would really care to see is Pocahontas.

 

Maybe A Lion King Live-Action Prequel Movie that is based on MAcBeth.

 

Emma Watson as Belle is a neat choice since Watson already played a bookworm female character and does a great job on it so it makes sense.

Makes me wonder who'll play the Beast then. Hopefully someone who can match the character which is important.

Normally, I would be against this, but I like Beauty and the Beast a lot. Belle is probably my favorite Disney princess (it would be Elsa, but she's technically a queen). Emma Watson is perfect for the role. I think there are more places they can go with this story compared to Cinderella (where that movie looks like the same movie we have seen before).

 

beauty and the beast? screw that. make it Gaston! the movie!

This was my favorite Disney animated film as a kid. Cool.

That immediately just became as anticipated as Star Wars.

Edit: Never mind. I just read up on it, and it's apparently one of those nude scenes where things are obscured and there is hardly any nudity.

 

LOL no no i think i'd rather be excited for the Gaston movie.

 

Looks like it'll be the case. I don't think Aladdin would work especially without Robin Williams as the Genie.

Emma Watson.....Nice. But wake me for when they announce whose playing Gaston.
