Now, I tend to be fairly open minded when it comes to strange ideas in the Transformers realm. Mickymus Prime was kind of clever, and looked sort of neat. So, kudos for a funny idea. Even the shoe-formers of yesteryear weren't that bad a concept. But this? I pull up these pictures and it's like my brain just reset and all I'm getting is an I/O error. Words cannot fully express how wrong this feels. It's just epic levels of wrong.
I'm confused. I thought this was supposed to transform into Herbie or whatever. I planned to get it for my sister but not if it's just Donald ---> shitty Bumblebee knockoff.

... Why the green and orange headlights, exactly? That's a weird, weird color choice. Heh. That'd be a pretty natural fit for Gears, temperament-wise.
Yeah, it was actually kind of funny when in the concept art they had him transform into Herbie. Now it really is just an ugly mess. I mean those kibble pieces don't even need to be yellow, that's what gets me. I don't exactly see what the thought process behind that deco was. Oh well. *shrug*
Now I can see how they were able to get the 'Beetle' alt mode on a Transformer - looks like they've changed it enough to get around having to licence it from VW. Shame it's a bit of a mess, especially the shellformer 'bot mode.
