Why I created this thread because I was thinking about on Giant. I really like Constructicons bots and vehicles really look great, I had little disappoint on combiner mode's arms look small and his both heads are ugly but helmet look good, I don't like that faces.

I wondering what if other 3rd party company would make new few kits for Giant would get improve and better,
-Arms should get bigger and finger get more articulations
-better face
-maybe G1 gun like TFC Hercules's new gun
-Other, you guys might have idea for other kits.

Like TFC did with TFC Hercules's Rage set.


What do you thinking about few upgrade kits would better on Giant? Maybe Other 3rd Party Company would reading this and interesting about it?

I'd like a reprolabels set with purple windows, Decepticon symbols, and black & yellow hazard stripes. I would also like a new head, but the arms don't bother me a bit.

 

I don't want any add-ons except for purple stickers and maybe black/yellow stripes to replace the red/white ones. I like Giant the way he is.

 

I would like different heads/faces. Everything else on Giant I'm happy with.

 

Yes to upgrade kit only if it doesn't affect Maketoys making other combiners or awesome things.

I'll take some more G1-esque headsculpts for the lot of them provided they still transform properly.

Otherwise, I can't think of anything about the set that particularly needs "upgrading".

 

I am in the "cover up the red and white stripes" camp. And I'm glad that it appears reprolabels has decided to make a set for Giant after all.

The one (and probably only) other "improvement" that I can think of for Giant would be to move Scavenger/Excavator's altmode scoop arm from his arm in individual botmode, and peg it into his back somehow. Something like TFC's Exgraver can do.

And I like the idea of more articulated hands for combined mode a lot!

 

Here's what I like to see..

-The Foot scoop and head to be a little bigger..

-The lower forearms should just be remold to be bigger and longer...not extend the forearms lower by extending the elbow joints. This makes the forearms look really short..If the ratchet elbow joint was higher again and the forearms was just bigger annd longer that would have evened out is proportions..

-Chest plate should be a bigger and wider
and with the chest plate being wider a useful shoulder joint to extend the arms slightly further out to keep it's mobility..one that is useful and looks like it belongs with Giant)

 

I don't want longer arms, the original ones are perfect proportion wise. Longer ones like in the OP digibash are too long and big (hands are too big for the arms too), they give the figure wrong proportions, it looks like a gorilla.

Some new heads with a proper rage one would be ace though. I don't wan't anything else about it to be changed.

 

Wow, I didn't think he needed any thing and then I saw the forearm digibash and he does look better! Maybe he does need upgrades...

What i meant is green giant arm is at perfect length but proportions are off. If the forearms were bigger and longer and the elbow joint was shorter it would be better....I welcome other companys to try to create something of such.

 

I like Giant the way he is, but something like construction stuff would be cool, for example making Scrapper into a payloader-excavator, with multiple ends (scoop, drill, claw, etc..) or the same concept to Hook and the others. And finally, using all of these parts to form Scorpulator, the partner of G1 Actionmaster Devastator, also able to convert into his rifle  

 

Except for a reprolabel upgrade my opinion is no. Giant is perfect.

Repro set is already in the making, including a purple drum. I'd just like a few head/face options.

My biggest gripe against Giant is the lack of better articulated fingers. Whoever gives me that, I'll give them money.

 

I voted yes only for the arms. Everything else is fine by me.
