Over the years, many of my favorite snacks and products have vanished, never to be seen again. Has that happened to anyone? Here are just a few of my favorite, discontinued products: Hi Ho Crackers - Better flavor than Ritz in my opinion and had less salt. Gone. Belvita Apple-Cinnamon breakfast bars- My absolute favorite breakfast bars... gone with no explanation. I inquired on their Facebook page, and the admin (or whoever) just said they've been discontinued. Didn't say why. Summit - Basically, it was Twix without the caramel, and since I didn't like caramel, I loved this candy bar. Delaware Punch- My all-time favorite childhood soft drink. Apparently, they still sell it in certain spots in the southern US, but I've never seen it. I recently visited the Coke factory in Atlanta, GA, and apparently this drink is sold in Honduras. *scratches head* Old Spice Mountain Rush - My all-time favorite deodorant... gone. Several years ago, I saw about 10 of them at Safeway on clearance, so I bought all of them, which lasted a little over a year, but after that... I could make an even longer list if I put my mind to it. I would have said McDonalds Fried Apple Pies, but you can currently get them at KFC. Has anyone's favorite product(s)/brands disappeared, never to be seen again?
A couple years ago, I would've said Surge, but... I still kinda miss Crystal Pepsi. They promised to bring it back this summer, but I didn't see a single damned one.
There was a nice little ice cream treat called Dibs (or something like that)... I don't think they still make them and I miss them
Low Sodium Goldfish crackers, now's there's all these wacky flavors but I always preferred that one. It probably was discontinued because no one bought it but me!
They actually did bring it back, but it was apparently a very limited kinda thing and wasn't around for long. I only ever got it twice... and the sad thing is, it actually tastes better than regular Pepsi, imho. It's definitely something I wish was more of a long-term kinda thing. Similarly, I miss the Holiday Spice Pepsi they did for like two years in a row. It was basically Pepsi with the addition of cinnamon to it, which sounds odd, but I really liked it. Probably the best tasting Pepsi I ever had...
Crystal Pepsi. They brought it back this summer, but now it's gone again and sadly the only place I ever found it at the gas station across from my apartments is now out. Apparently I bought the last case of 12oz bottles they had this week. Strangely I only ever saw the 12oz bottles. I thought they were also supposed to release cans and 2ltr bottles too? Anyways, they need to make this a regular thing because my wife, my kids and myself all like this more than regular Pepsi.
DiGiorno used to make a deep dish pepperoni pizza that was more like an actual pie - this joker was at least two inches thick. I haven't seen it in close to ten years.
I used to love both of these back in the day. Something about how they made the cheez balls was so much tastier than cheetos or the generic versions.
Man, I used to eat P.B.Crisps quite a lot as a kid. I really missed that. And that goes for those Cheese Balls too.
Hostess Choco Bliss Cheeto's Balls Nalley chicken noodle dinner Original Hamburger Helper cheeseburger mac and beef storganoff
The arch deluxe from McDonald's Tonys use to make a Mexican pizza and more recently, Heluva good ranch dip appears to discontinued around here.
The only one left I really remember enough to still get salty over is Mt. Dew Distortion. I will never.. ever.. understand how that low rent squirt clone won the vote over it..
Tonka GoBots, ATI All-in-Wonder video cards, Converse hi-top basketball sneakers (not the awful Chuck Taylor type), KFC's Double Down, the Chevrolet Monte Carlo, and Craftsman tools made in the US...
