Im still baffled as to why that specific building needed to be used as a Nazi stronghold in the film in the first place.

 

Wow. Damaged a historical site for a nonsensical and now retconned scene, and for the worst movie. He SHOULD feel bad.

 

He doesn't. When dealing with people like him, It should be expected. He's never been the type who owns up to his mistakes or has any accountabilitys.

 

He should definitely feel bad after using a historic building as a Nazi headquarters. Shame on you Michael Bay. 

 

Not much of an interview. I thank Bay for bringing Transformers into mainstream pop culture, but he should’ve quit after DOTM.

 

Literally everything about that scene baffled me. Wait, actually the whole movie baffled the shit out of me.

 

That last bit of the interview was beyond laughable.

 

I think Bay feel boring after DOTM (actually we can find he try to make the TF movie story end quickly in the last few minus which begin from the death of Soundwave) and he want to try to destroy this TF series from AOE and start another life. weel, he did

I think that maybe he regrets the negative response from the TF community. He tried to make a fun and exciting movie franchise, but unfortunately, his directing style really clashed with what we like about transformers. He just wasn't right for the franchise.

 

Some building have that look as director think out side of box same with photographers taking pictures one photographer takes his toys use fireworks take picture he may have wanted something new to use original buildings may have been destroyed , could not get permission to use them he may have had to improvise

has nothing to do with anybody's childhood. has to do with, yanno, the preservation of a historical site, and the fact that it was the home of one of the most prominent anti-nazi movement people during the time period turned into a nazi stronghold.

Insulting the memory of a man whose hatred of the Nazis defies description by specifically putting Swastikas all over it for the sake of a dumb, pointless scene that could have been just as easily done at any other preserved building from WWII? He doesnt care. Especially give Bay was QUOTED at the time of filming as saying Churchill would be proud of the depiction in TLK.

Lol he doesnt give a damn what the TF community thinks, he got paid more money than most people see in their lifetimes AND got his Pain and Gain film made.

 

I mean it's not like half the WW2 movies/TV shows out there were shot in Britain....

 

I just thought it was cool that Bay's dream car when he was fifteen was a Datsun 280Z.
