So I'm assuming bad-ass Spinosaur Scorn is a brand spanking new character but why does Swoop/Strafe have two heads? And why is the triceratops called Slug? They look cool, no doubt about it but, I'm just confused. Who names an awesome triceratops with a bad attitude Slug? Eh. Sorry I know I'm nitpicking just a little

    Snarl as a toy, yes.

Snark in the movie? Not so sure about that.

Slug is called Slug because "Slag" is a derogatory term in the UK and on Cybertron.
As for why Strafe has 2 heads. No idea. But, that's why called him Strafe and not Swoop.

These topics have been discussed heavily but basically they boil down to this. Strafe is not Swoop. He's a new character with 2 heads.

Slag had to be renamed Slug because in Europe slag is slang term for whore. Hasbro want's the characters names to be constant around the globe so they changed his name everywhere to Slug, as in to punch. A lot of people are fighting this change kicking and screaming but ultimately it's a change that won't go away so it's best to get used to it.

"Slug" is also another name for a high caliber bullet.

Strafe has two heads because it's cooool.

Strafe is a Technobot, not a Dinobot.

    Long and short:
the movies, while based (loosely) on G1, are NOT G1. They are not beholden to what G1 did and are doing their own thing.

Better just separate them in your head: Movies are movies, neo-G1/G1 is neo-G1/G1.
