I always liked the idea that they weren't necessarily ancient TFs, but when they were sent to earth, someone got the time coordinates wrong or a spacebridge malfunctioned and they slipped through the timewarp to prehistoric times.

The idea of them surviving millions of years might be a bit of a stretch, but the idea of them being badly damaged but still functioning both enhances their tough reputation, and adds a poignancy to their simple-minded buffoonery.

I was thinking we should call it TFP specifically to avoid that.

But on second thought, maybe we should embrace it.

The Story behide The Dinobots is that The are ex-Slaves that escape for Sideways (in Prime Universe he is The Fallen minion) so they went to Earth,and find a Hawain Island next Oahu they live on it, and scan Dinosaurs for the Earth's past so that live on it with Primus and The 13th statues.

Well seeing how FOC is connected to TFP somehow and the creators said about them being on thier radar I think we're going to have our dreams come true!

If they do appear in Season 2 it's a strong possiblty that thier origin and aspects may have elements of Transformers Fall of Cybertron seeing how it may have a connection somehow. I've kind of took some ideas like that in my TFP versions of the Dinobots right here! KaijuGuy19 on deviantART

 

I want to see six Dinobots, Grimlock, Swoop, Sludge, Snarl, Slug, and the hall of famer himself, Dinobot. If Arcee can go blue and Bumblebee goes R2D2, for the love of primus make them smart.

Be cool if they could pull them off as triple changers, dinos, vehicles, and robots.

 

Grimlock is actually inteligent in the Aligned countinuity but his vocal processors were damged so he sound like a caveman. The Dinobots would probably talk normally though.

 

I will like dinobots in it but only if someone makes a remark about Pterosaurs not being Dinosaurs (same with water dwelling reptiles if Paddles is brought in)

A super intelligent strategic Grimlock with a speech impediment. I'd really like to see his dinosaur mode!  

And it's a cool way to link it with Fall of Cybertron. Shockwave's experiments of extracting materials from ancient earth and using it to turn the Grimlock and his team into the Dinobots. Really interesting!

 

Only if they can do Sky Lynx in a cool way.

I kinda wish they don't do the same 5 they always do (okay, Grimlock and Slag/Slug are fine). Give us an Ankylosaurus this time, please, they have a badass design.

 

I would settle for at least Grimlock or BW Dinobot.

Or maybe better have thier ROBOT modes have dinosauren features with normal vehicle alt modes. That way they can stay unique without making them generic!

 

But isn't what makes them special their unique alt modes being dinosaurs?

While I would love to see them, I wouldn't if it wouldn't make any sense in the story and not just for one/two episodes. They would have to appear more often than that.

Unless we have a flashback segment to them with a Fall of Cybertron influenced background. That would be pretty cool.
