He hyped up THESE characters the most. Just to shit on them. Thank you for admitting that your favorite director is shit.
Guys i ain't even seen it yet but let me point two things out from what i can gather....1. They all survive 2. Because Bay kept them alive gives them lots of room to grow as characters and in movie time
i think they will be way more of them in TF5 didnt mind the lack of them was enjoying the rest of the autobots too much.
My guess? They'll play a larger role through out the series. It's strongly hinted with the whole "Knights of Cybertron" thing going on. It's just the start for the dinobots.
well a lot of things in this movie made it bad, 1. car chases again. 2. Family issues unrelated to the plot 3. why is Cade unemployed when he is a genius inventor? 4. how the hell could a Cybertronian dagger/sword/gun is lightweight and is more powerful than any cybertronian gun as it was able to kill a target in one shot 5. Ironman Prime 6. Bumblebee's broken voicebox 7. Dinosaur robots where just involved in the movie just to hype up the franchise. 8. Angry Optimus Prime being able to knock down a huge T-Rex bot but couldn't pull out a sword stuck in his chest. 9. humans riding the alien hover craft without any safety harness were unharmed after crashing down
Optimus was a cheesy, redundant character for the first three movies and then this one came and he received excellent character development. The Dinobots are still essentially a blank slate; now that they've been introduced, they can be fleshed out extensively in further installments.
He is not insulting the OP. This is an insult: You are a moron. See the difference. No I am not insulting you just giving an example. Edit: Reply to Scorpio
I thought maybe Bay had finally warmed to the dinobots. Given how brief their appearance was and how it was sort of shoe horned in at the end (after Bulkhound had already single handed killed off at least half of the stated 50 cons BTW)- I think their presence was somebody else's request that he grudgingly agreed to. I could be wrong though.
I'll tell you how the dinobots were like this... If you were to take the dinobots out of the film, the film itself would be NO different.
There would be less damage to the buildings as there would not be dinos cheese grated up and down the sides endlessly. Honestly I think they spent more time upside down being rubbed on the buildings than fighting.
I really didn't care what they did or didn't do. I don't like the Dinobots anyway. Would've been fine with me if they weren't in there, but they're just a gimmick I guess.
Was VERY happy to the robot modes. That was cool. Sad to see they didn't talk. Happy to see they got some cool stunts (Scorn and Strafe especially) Loved Slug's little struggle against the magnet. Sad by little screentime. Happy to think they'll appear in the sequel and get better screentime. So...Yeah. Much more good than bad.
