I am deeply impressed by how you captured the spirit of both G1 and the movies at once. This is the most impressive design I've ever seen, and like Long Haul before it, it deserves to be made into the movie.

Please do try to submit this to Bay. He fits in so well that he'll not look out of place (especially in a world with Scorponoks and Ravages). This is truly a beautiful design. Really well done and professional.

Have you thought of submitting this on CGSociety?

Remember when Josh Nizzi got hired after he did some awesome Long Haul fan arts? Nothing would please me more than to find out Xeltecon gets hired by Michael Bay, and we get a Grimlock design in TF3 identical to this!

Bay may hate Dinobots, but even HE might change his mind after seeing this badass. Ehren Kruger, the writer, for all we know, might LOVE Dinobots! :lol

Anyways, this is a very cool design, and deserves the treatment Josh Nizzi's Long Haul recieved. Bring on Movieverse Grimlock!

    ;)

Might be a problem with your work, though. Your Grimlock seems to have 5-fingered hands, and I can actually tell how he transforms, and which parts go where.

Michael Bay might not like that.

    ;)

(In case it wasn't obvious, I'm just pulling your leg. Sarcasm: high)

I used to think Dinobots would never work in the Bayverse movies, but now I have to change my opinion.

I still think the Dinobots don't really work in a TF movie, but if they are to appear...they should TOTALLY use this one!!

Seriously man, awesome job! Great great great!!

Very, very good! Although the idea of a movieverse-like robodinosaur is very, very bad.

I'm not sure what to say other than this is truly an outstanding piece of work. I get bits of Dinobot in terms of the build of the robot mode's proportions, though the color scheme and selection of the T-Rex automatically generates the image of Grimlock; I'd daresay that this model makes me think more Grimlock than Dinobot. Interestingly enough, the T-Rex mode makes me think of Transmetal Megatron. In any event, this piece is among the best of the realistic Transformers out there.

I can't stop looking at this.......just so awesum.

How about something along the line of Megatron needs a new body after the final battle of ROTF and he gets this built (yeesss) but the Autobots steal/save it before Megatron can swap in his spark. Unicorn steps in and upgrades Megatron himself (Galvatron) and gives a chance to introduce Wheeljack to put the dino online with an Autobot spark.
