Not sure if this was already discussed, but I saw somewhere the que/wheeljack release and the dino/mirage release. wheeljack looks decent, but it seems to me the dino figure bears a serious resemblance to sideways. is it just a retool/recolor or an entirely different figure?

I recently had a very hard time trying to pose him so he doesn't make me immediately think of Sideways. There's only one pose that does it for me so he's essentially a statue to me now.

 

Hasbro/Takara never produced a new mold for Dino/Mirage, so Takara used Sideways as a foundation for a retool.

I would NOT expect to see this released domestically by Hasbro. I think the "ship has sailed" for prior movie figures at this point.

 

Considering how much Hasbro touts the Generations line as celebrating all of Transformers fiction they sure do a lot to avoid giving us more movie characters we're missing.

 

if we ever get a deluxe AOE stinger i think he could make for a more pasable dino than a retool of sidways
