    From the Jinjiang set.
I went with the more G1 toy-like colors to keep the team colors the same.

Nice little figure here too, and definitely works as a very good classics Swoop after a repaint. Not quite as nice as Planet X Caelus and the knobs on the sides of his head are a bit goofy, but he is still especially cool considering he's part of a combiner.

Swoop is a good bit smaller than Grimlock, as he should be.
I'll get a group pic on the next one I post.

I do kinda want this set, but just for the limb-bots, I think they'd look pretty good with the V1 classics Grimlock

Looks brilliant. After being unimpressed with Swnope when we saw the initial pics, he's become by far my favourite of the group, squishy face and all. Did you know that if you swap the wing tips over, they can be folded up for even more of a traditional Swoop look?

    Great work :thumb

Yeah I'm eager to see this thing all painted up and combined.

Hah mine actually came with 2 left wings, but with the rocket on upside down on one, so I cut the claw off one and flipped it around so it looks right.

Man you are a beast when it comes to this set. A nice melding of G1 with hints of WFC and FOC. It all seems to be a very fitting paint job and worn effects.

Thank you! That was exactly the goal, but I didn't want my light effects to look pink at all so I went with fiery light effects instead. Seemed to fit the Dinobots better to me.

You have done an amazing job on this set.

May I ask if you hand painted all of them (in particular the flame/light effects) or airbrushed?

Superb work bro. I did have a question though. How do you keep them from chipping and or keep the paint from rubbing during transformation?

Yessir all hand painted except the base coat.

I use paints I trust and do my prep work including washing and sanding, especially in rub areas. With just a bit of care and paying attention, its easy enough not to have parts scrape against each other too hard on these though so paint chipping isn't a huge concern in this case anyway.
