Aaand the last one done. Sludge was always my least favorite, but turns out in this set he is a cooler robot than the one he is most like, Snarl. Whereas Snarl looks nice but is missing his tail wings and has somewhat of a hollow leg thing going on, Sludge looks fairly accurate to G1, albeit updated to a more "Classics" style. Sludge also has better filled in lower legs since his dino feet lock in better while still giving him enough heel to stand fine. He's a brontosaur... but otherwise I can't complain about this figure! With them all done I plan to get the set all combined, photographed, posted, and on ebay by the weekend, assuming whatever this painful lung thing I have going on lets me live that long. Probably toomuchpaintingitus. Full Dinobot team shot included!
Great way to wrap up the set! I don't think anyone can say that these weren't designed to be strong G1 homages after seeing them in their "proper" colours. Painful lung thong sounds scary, though! Hope you get that checked out!
Damn, man. This is quite the legendary legacy you're leaving a trail of. Especially after the whole Enterprise F thing. That guy went viral on the net. What set is this from? Btw, hope you get well.
Have a look at this thread! (It's a doozy - I'd start reading about halfway through for the most current stuff) TFC Not- Dinobots combiner
I think it's still readily available at decent prices. Here's one option. SirToys seems to be well regarded. I'm sure there will be a few other places people could recommend. I grabbed mine at Ages 3 and Up. Perhaps they'll get some more stock in.
Best priced combiner set out there! Anyway back to the original post great work on all these, Really feeling G1-ish have left another comment on your combiner too. They all look great BTW
Thank you for the comments and compliments guy!! I'm going to say this in the combined post too because people do need to know what they are in for when buying this. Yes, the price of these being around $150 is a good deal, even with the goofy colors they come in, but whether it ends up being worth it to buy is a coin toss. I have heard of lots of people having 2 left arms, hands, horns, and other mistakes, some that outright kill proper transformation and combining. Mine had several little flaws like this, which i was able to fix but swapping parts, cutting things of and reattaching them backwards, and trimming parts to fit that otherwise would not have. If you are a customizer and don't mind doing some work, it is a pretty sound buy. If not... you may have some neat dinobot toys with a few flaws that dont really combine at all.
idk if these were posted to ebay but i would love to buy them if they are for sale. and i hope you get better and continue to make beautiful creations like this for yourself or others
