So, despite my originally not being too keen on the new movie, I find myself making plans to go see it on the 2nd. As I look at my options, I see that I can either go see it at the slightly swankier theatre with better seats (they lean back farther and the armrest folds down), OR I can go see it at a theatre offering it in digital form from a digital projector.

Has anyone ever seen a movie on the digital projectors? Is there much difference, especially on a brand new movie where the film won't be all scuffed up yet?

The quality is much better from a digital projector.

Not having much to say about the topic at hand, but methinks this thread would have been better suited to the General Discussion Forum.

    I'm just sayin', is all.

I'm gonna guess the digital will be better. All the special effects might as well see it in the better theater. If they have it playing on one of those IMAX theaters I'd go see that if they did.
