A few days ago I took a couple of pictures and when I transferred them to my PC, I noticed one of them had strange lines throughout the picture (it looks almost like something printed out on those old printers). I recently took some more pictures yesterday and every single one had the same lines, regardless of what size the pictures were set to or if the flash was on. Here's an example:

Would anyone happen to know the cause? Is it time for a new camera?

Nope, didn't drop it and I don't think I've ever updated any drivers.

They look like scanlines. But nowadays I actually have to drop a filter on a video to achieve that look.

Crazy, I know, but have you tried different batteries or formatting the memory card?

My bet is the camera is dying. I've seen something similar to that before on one that died shortly after.

Thanks! Just got last week and when I tried taking pictures of him that's when I saw this problem.

Tried both, didn't work. It's happening in certain areas now as opposed to the whole picture.

If that's the case, I guess I could use a new camera. Thanks for the help all!
