I'm not too sure if this is considered new or not but Digimon fans should be happy to know that the first volume of the first season of Digimon is currently released on DVD today. I found out about it at Wal-Mart while my family and I are shopping there.

I have been meaning to rewatch Digimon at some point.

 

I'm probably gonna buy it and the upcoming Season 2 boxset just so we can get Tamers on DVD. Tamers was pretty much the best Digimon anything EVER.

 

eh, though i'm a fan of most digimon shows (the first four) i have no need to watch any over again. besides......pokemon is better  

 

Amazon had the full Season 1 boxset selling for $26, and down to $22 as a Lightning Deal, last weekend and I picked it up then. Looks like they don't have it in stock ATM, though. Also pre-ordered the Season 2 boxset that's coming out in March so I'll have the complete Adventure series, which was the only one I liked.

Between these coming out, and Warner finally getting around to completing Animaniacs and Tiny Toons, there's a lot of stuff out or coming soon that I never expected to get on DVD.

 

Yes! I'll pick that up eventually.

They did a great job dubbing this, but I still wish it was a bi-lingual release.

 

I feel sorry for the americans who get the "censored" version along with the ridiculousness of the dubbing of Apocalipsemon. Seriously, wtf guys? Oh no, the guy mutilates himself during a rant, oh noes we must censor it!!!11

 

I'll keep an eye on this, I wouldn't mind getting Digimon Tamers as a complete set.
