right in the childhood...
(Stupid unnecessary dub name changes I'll hate you forever).
Unfortunately "Omnimon" does not fit with the opponent he faces in this video who is
. You can't have
without the Omega, right?
Man, sucks that the actors for the kids have all been replaced. I mean, its not like Toei would pull that crap for Dragon Ball, why do it for Digimon? The cast has kept coming back for games and drama CDs anyway. We know they're active.
i guess that name is cool too, he'll always be omnimon to me, and for all we know the other guys name will be changed in an eventually dub as well
The kids all look awful with literally the same features and different hair.
I just muted it and played the Digimon theme song in my head. The animation is technically good, but does that thing anime does where it's really pretty, but the action goes from super slow to SUPER FAST SHIT EVERYWHERE LIGHTS AND SMOKE every second back and forth and doesn't especially look very good when everything's acting like a student driver in a manual hatchback.
Also some of the perspective shots make the Digimon look... distorted.
Or you could ditch the unecesary parallels Japan always forces into stuff. (I'll take Dark and Burning Gundam over Devil and God Gundam, thank you) Omnimon sounds cooler and makes more sense since it's an amalgamation of two Digimon that exceeds their individual powers.
This is not going to be an anime series
Instead, it's a 6-part film series.
Digimon Adventure tri. is 6-Part Theatrical Anime With New Cast - News - Anime News Network
Wooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! ;Me wants to see more!!!! *shaking in front of the pc*
Meh, I'm still cool with that. There's only so far you can go with the same group of characters.
So many fond memories. Looks so promising.
Interesting. Hope they don't drag out the movie's too much.
It looks alright.
I'm really surprised they recast the kids. Though Yoshimasa Hosoya as Yamato should prove to be a cool casting choice.
I wonder how they'll dub this...when they get around to it or if it will ever get a dub...I hope if they do...they don't fuck it up like they did with the original series.
Digging the animation style. Adventure with a budget. We live in surreal times.
I think recasting the kids made sense. And the 6 movie format is probably wise as long as the releases are rapid.
I hope you're only talking about the first half of the first season. Because everything after that had very little editing.
There's been less and less edit outs in Digimon over time but some lines here and there are still forcefully delivered yet it usually holds up. To boot the English casts are usually comprised of good dub actors. The editing out of the music bugs me the most for the fact that it's time wasting and costly.
Then there are the name changes like changing Fairymon to Kazemon. It's pointless, why do they have to Americanize stuff like that?
Because they're American?
Yes the Dub VA's Saban had are usually great....in other dubs.
As for less edits....Digimon Fusion. It's literally the Adventures dub 2.0. I watched the first season they aired on CW Vortex while it was airing and other than some decent voice work....the script is awful.
My joke failed. I'm sad now.
Because kazemom is Japanese for fairymon?
Separate names with a comma.
