Well, this is really exciting! I do hope they avoid some of the more annoying parts of 02 in this (like the Kairi and Davis thing mentioned above), but, I guess we'll see. ...I do admit part of me would love a Tamers sequel 1000% more, but this is still fantastic and I'm super excited for it!

I really never got that impression, in fact I think the only person who thought Davis and TK were "fighting" over Kairi was Davis himself - that kid lived in his own bubble, with an inadequate air supply. More Tamers would be fine by me
I think Mona Marshall, Colleen O'Shaughnessy, Philece Sampler, Wendee Lee and Lara Jill Miller have a pretty good chance of reprising since they are all still active in voice acting. Michael Reisz, Michael Lindsay and Joshua Seth have all quit voice acting altogether, Reisz is now a writer for shows, Lindsay I have no clue what is doing now but shame he left voicing Kisuke in Bleach, and as for Seth he makes a living being a hypnotist these days though I have heard that he's willing to reprise Tai if they ask him. Honestly I just hope Saban doesn't continue with the shitty annoying dialogue that plagued the original series and more recently Digimon Fusion.
My daughter is going to be thrilled, she loves the first and second season and rewatches them over and over. She hates anything that came after those seasons.
Not keen on these designs, but I'll wait to see them animated. Then your daughter will hate me because I prefer Digimon Tamers above them all.
