    Hey...what do you guys think of me doing a quick repaint of Soundwave in a G1 color scheme? A friend asked to do this so I whipped up this quick digital to see how it looks.

    Comments, suggestions and Ideas appreciated!

    I really do like the contrasting colors, and the brighter colors do make his detail stand out more. My humble opinion is that this looks great! The yellow on the chest seems to throw me off a bit though...not sure why.

    As far as the Yellow on his chest, it's actually gold in this case and I did it because the G1 SW has the gold trim on his cassette hatch. It may be a bit much, and worth toning it back on smaller details instead of quite so bold.

    This looks amazing, Ruminus. And I see it as gold and think it looks perfect. (But that's my opinion, so do what you wish)

    I like it. It certainly brings out a lot of the sculpted details.

    Start messing with photoshop and it's pretty easy after you learn photoshop

    That's cool. I think there's a little too much contrast with the silver and yellow. I'd minimize the yellow and darken the silver, or cool it to a sort of gunmental.

    That's a crazy good job with the digibash, though. I'd swear it was an actual painted toy.

    I like it but the yellow on the chest makes me think its Vault Dweller Soundwave from the Fallout games.
