    This.

Bayverse Starscream is the king of mass-shifting though! His alt mode is at least two times bigger than Optimus' but in robot mode he is barely even taller than Prime. He is pretty wide though.

Were they? I thought they were 15-18ft tall like in the movieverse, which isn’t much of a stretch realistically.

Yes, it's good. Please toss everything bayverse as soon as you can.

As much as i love the new design for Optimus i want him to be big like his Bayverse counterpart, Optimus as always been depicted to be massive and towering most of the Autobots. He gives that big but kind and gentle aurora. Hopefully they make that change for the next movie, hopefully hes between 28-30ft tall.

Honestly I think Optimus should be around, say, 24 feet tall, but that's just personal preference. I do think that this Optimus is a little too short, though.

Wait, I don't remember... Optimus doesn't physically transform onscreen right?

How can I make a proper judgement on his height?

Honestly, I'm neutral to this whole thing. Just make him accurately to scale with whatever vehicle mode he may have.

Obviously, you and the one who started this post, careo_O  . . .Actually I'm a "fanatic" of things like y'know, good writing, sensible non-over-complicated non-fugly designs, coherent storytelling, character development, and. . .Well, you get the point. . .Or do you?!. . .o_O

At one time, I would have said, the bigger Optimus, the better. But now, I'm more interested in them getting his personality right. Save the larger sizes for the larger scale Transformers.

I mean, I'd like movie Autobots in Optimus's team who are noticeably larger than him (I don't mean Dinobots), making it clear that they don't just follow him around because he's the biggest.

I've got this idea where we skip the disappearing trailer trick and have it used a a sort of base camp for the Autobots when they're on their longer trips.. For everyday purposes, Optimus just leaves it behind, but when things get really rough he combines with it into some equivalent of Powermaster Optimus.

That way, you get the best of both worlds. You get the smaller more 'relatable' Optimus (plus it makes it easier for him to sneak around if he wants to) and a larger more imposing version of him when the occasion requires it.

Why am I NOT surprised? So, to you, a movie is nothing but incoherent instances of action and visuals, and storytelling and character development be damned??? OK, Got ito_O  . . .Question: why even watch movies at all if that's all you want on the screen???!!!!

I'm not beholden to the Bayverse mistakes. It's TF not Gundam.
