With the amount of screentimes both Ron and judy got; I'm curious to find out if the fandom gave bay the notion of thinking we wanted more of them. Did you guys ever liked sams parents??

I think they were okay, decent enough and not too jerky.

They could get a bit annoying at times but I actually thought they were funny for the most part. Some actual jokes with their characters that weren't just toilet humor or screaming. "Well, I had to knock him around a bit..." "You did not!"

And the scene between them and Sam in ROTF in the desert is actually pretty heartfelt.

frankly, i was just disappointed the Transformers movies didn't feature more of Ron n Judy. easily the part of transformers i was most excited for was the human protagonists' parents eating pot brownies, talking about masturbation n yelling at their humping dogs. way better than that "Opinions Priest" dude or whatever the lame robot was called.

Generally, yes. ROTF went too far with them until the Paris scene, that point onwards they were fine (and the bit in the desert where Ron won't leave Sam was probably their best scene). 07 they were amusing generally, although could have done without the entire Sam's Happy Time part. I felt they were used best in DOTM. They had their humour between them, it didn't go too far and they were there enough to give Sam a pep talk and push him into making the decision to go after Carly. You know, things parents of the main character should be doing in stories.

I have edited my copies of the movies to cut them out of the films as much as 'human'ly possible.

Ron was ok, but Judy can fuck off. I got nothing against their actors.

I thought Ron was OK particularly in the first two movies (that moment between him and Sam in the thick of the Egypt battle was probably one of the two or three moments in that movie I actually had no problem with).

Judy, on the other hand...*sigh* Even though they toned down her stupidity in DOTM, it wasn't enough to scrub away the memory of "Sam's Happy Time" or her campus hash-n-dash. Not the actress' fault, mind you.

I loved that desert scene, especially considering how it was a role reversal of Ron and Judy from earlier in the movie.

Judy was a riot! Isn't she the lady from That 70s Show?

Ron I liked, he and Sam had believable chemistry as father and son.

Judy I didn’t like how she was written for the most part, but as others have mentioned that’s the material and not her actress.

No. A blatant example of the redundant overemphasis on human characters. . .

No. The Witwicky family were the worst humans in any of the Bayformers. Even Simmons stopped being a twat at least once a movie to be useful. Ron and Judy? It was like Boomer Dad jokes writing stoner cartoons for Adult Swim. 70s sitcom level bad.
